Not to go

Глядя на рейтинги и цены, мы ожидали гораздо большего от этого отеля. В первую очередь не понравился сервис: сотрудники ленивые, совершенно не мотивированные, через одного не профессиональные. Во-вторых устаревшая и неудобная инфраструктура. До пляжа надо спускаться и идти по настилу достаточно долго. Качество еды в ресторанах среднее, точно не уровня 5*. В округе приличных ресторанов тоже нет, поэтому надо ездить на автомобиле. Ну, и будучи золотым членом Bonvoy, я не получил даже простого приветствия, а уж про upgrade даже речи не шло, хотя отель был полупустым. Знакомство с Португалией

Таких размеров территории я ещё не встречал.В автомобильном туре из Испании попали на несколько дней сюда,сейчас не сезон,но включив воображени,,понимаешь что это наверное один из крупнейших отелей Европы. Перечислять все - займёт займет много ненужного пространства. Великолепное место для семейного отдыха,причём качественного и очень активного.На любой вкус и в любых комбинациях.Приедем ещё и и наподольше. Выбрали сразу из-за пляжа

Отель сам по себе большой, но плюс ещё разделён на коттеджи, квартиры, бунгало и тд. То есть есть постояльцы и тд. Детская площадка хорошая, еда вкусная, все вообщем хорошо. Да далеко идти на пляж. Но с утра спустился потом после обеда ушёл. Терпимо. Тем более вид того стоит! Очень достойно. В плане уборки есть недочеты, что полотенца какие- то не клали, где то поздно убирались. Но вид все прощал! Советую однозначно Отель сам по себе большой, но плюс ещё разделён на коттеджи, квартиры, бунгало и тд. То есть есть постояльцы и тд. Детская площадка хорошая, еда вкусная, все вообщем хорошо. Да далеко идти на пляж. Но с утра спустился потом после обеда ушёл. Терпимо. Тем более вид того стоит! Очень достойно. У семи нянек ...

Отель огромен. И вероятно,вследствие этого управлять им крайне тяжело. По приезду не могли пройти чек-ин, так как номер не был готов к 14.00. Пришли через час. Вид на море подразумевал вид на бассейн, с прыгающими на голову купающимся, подростками и да, где- то за бассейном, после куска пляжа, был виден и край моря. Полотенца не меняются, если их не бросить на пол. Простыни, понятное дело, тоже. Подушки, которые не нужны, так и валяются в комнате на протяжении всего нашего пребывания, никто не потрудился их унести, или хотя бы убрать в шкаф. Гигиенические сеты тоже не обновляются ежедневно. Не измылил мыло до конца, не израсходовал все ватные палочки - старайся дальше, пока флакончики/пакетики не станут пустыми. Сейчас 15.30. Питьевой воды до сих пор нет. Видимо принесут ближе к ночи уже. Может надо привлечь дополнительных сотрудников, коли имеющиеся несправляются с обязанностями? Из очевидных плюсов - огромнейшая и ухоженная территория. Только садовники здесь работают на славу. Завтраки шикарны. Если не ждать своего омлета (очередь минут 10-15 займёт). За кофе тоже надо стоять к кофемашине в одной очереди с официантами. Были во всех ресторанах отеля. Вот только в Zest сравнительно с другими, быстро обслуживают гостей. В остальных ресторанах не ждите сверхъестественного. Расслабьтесь. Помните, что вы на отдыхе, а официанты- повара тоже люди и вообще, вы тут не одни и ждите своей очереди. Это при том, что цены разумеется класса luxe, выше городских в три раза. Итого: территория - просто супер. Завтраки прекрасны. Остальное не очень. Уборка номеров явно подкачала. Расторопность официантов и скорость поваров тоже не порадовали. Отель огромен. Лучший отель в Алгарве

Лучшего отеля в Алгарве не найти. Потрясающие виды, огромная территория, широкие и многокилометровые пляжи. Сам отель выполнен в португальском стиле, в котором есть чем заняться. Отличные гольф поля, теннисные корты, большая детская площадка. Для тех, кто любит покушать большое разнообразие ресторанов для самых разных предпочтений. Для тех, кто за здоровый образ жизни - ZEST, настоящий японский - Jakuzza , мясной - Piri-Piri , прямо у моря ресторан Mare , португальский O Pescador , где очень вкусно готовят деликатесы из морепродуктов и еще множество других. Кроме этого на территории целый день продаются в киосках пончики и мороженое. В общем нет необходимости выбираться в город ради посещения ресторана. Единственное что немного напрягало- это невозможность дозвониться на ресепшн - просто не берут трубку. Но уже при выезде, нам объяснили, что возможно был сбой в программе. Не знаю, может и так. Very nice Resort - Golf and Tennis at its best

Very nice, very spacious facility. Great 9-hole golf course, own beach, nice rooms, everything top clean, etc. Many restaurants, and and. Breakfast is not high class but still very good. Service is a bit awkward throughout and you have to be very patient. But that is also the only thing that does not do justice to the hotel. Very nice, very spacious facility. Stunning Hotel and Cat Sanctuary

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful, the rooms and facilities are well thought out and there is everything you need on the resort. The hotel is kept immaculate, the architecture was truly stunning The beach is beautiful and there are many pools, restaurants and bars. The beach bar can get busy around lunch time and seemed short staffed at times. However, the beat thing in this hotel is the service we received in particular by the Manager of the Ocean Suites Alda. This lady’s customer service skills are like no other. I have a severe cat allergy and learnt on arrival the hotel takes care of the cats in the cliffs and provides them with food and shelter, which is lovely but caused some challenges on our trip as there were many on the grounds. Alda was a real Professional she was genuine and empathetic, she was kind and professional and really helped us out, I have not experienced such great customer service. For This reason I have recommended this hotel to friends who have also had a great time. I hope the hotel gives this lady the credit she deserves. The hotel provides sun loungers at the beach if u wish to have one near the sea there is a charge, which is a negative for me. Visited here for a week , end of October for a chilled Pre winter break We were fortunate to have 5 glorious full days of hot sunshine out of the 7. The resort is truly beautiful with scenery straight off a picture postcard. scenery is spectacular with the dramatic cliffs and pine trees backing the ocean. Many fabulous photo opportunities here and if the sky is clear the sunsets from the champagne bar are to die for Those who enjoy walking will love the twisting paths that wind through the resort surrounded by pine trees with the backdrop of the ocean and cliffs. The resort is huge with literally loads of pools and grassed areas for sun loungers, no shortage of space here to relax and chill out. Ideal for those with children Our apartment was beautiful, decorated beautifully and kept spotless by housekeeping every day. We had 2 bedroom garden suite with 2 bathrooms and it’s own garden leading to pool. Can’t find any faults with it at all Getting to the beach if you aren’t fit could be a trial. The resort is perched amongst high cliffs and whilst a lift can take you part of the way down there are still lots of steps to navigate after the lift. Getting down is one thing but getting back would be extremely difficult for elderly or those with any slight mobility issues. Pity there isn’t a lift all the way to the beach Lots of very nice eateries including a lovely beach bar for lunch time snacks with amazing ocean views We tended to eat off resort most nights as food and drink prices are very high, £4 for a coke, £4 small coffee £20 for a coffee and 2 pastries etc. Everything here is very expensive to the point of being extortionate really. Don’t mind paying a premium but they are making a killing from guests who have already paid a premium to stay there. We didn’t allow this to detract from our enjoyment though and all I would say is either take plenty of spending money or explore out of resort where you will find much cheaper options Those who like to golf, the course is beautiful with some amazing views but again you will pay premium prices to golf Champagne bar at sunset is an absolute must, photo opportunities are aplenty, however at £20 a glass you probably won’t want to stay till late! Favorite resort we've ever been to!

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at, which is saying a lot considering we travel the world for a living. We also rarely want to go back to the same place twice, but we are already talking about a family trip for everyone to enjoy at this beautiful resort! I absolutely cannot wait to come back. Very comfortable and relaxing hotel surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. Fully equipped beach, accessed by a lift and a wooden walkway. Several excellent restaurants situated in different areas of the grounds and in the hotel. Shuttle available. We enjoyed delicious meals in O Pescador, Piri Piri Steakhouse, O Grill and Corda Cafe. Our rooms were spacious with excellent beds, furniture, balconies and bathrooms and were cleaned impeccably every day. We appreciated very much that our accommodation was ready despite an early arrival, and that we could enjoy the sun loungers in the garden before our late afternoon departure. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool, the gym and the shopping arcade. All the staff were pleasant, discreet and efficient. They helped us with car rental and restaurant and shuttle bookings. We found that it had been a good idea to take half board and to have booked some restaurants in advance. We were sad to leave this wonderful resort and we look forward very much to our next stay.
