Great experience

My wife and I took this vacation as just a getaway for relaxing. We both were surprised at the setup the entire area. This was truly a very nice experience and we really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was nice and plenty of shopping areas, restaurants and entertainment. Thanks My wife and I took this vacation as just a getaway for relaxing. King's Creek Plantation

It was a memorable Thanksgiving week for us. We made it through a hurdle in cooking big turkey for the family. It came out beautifully well cooked turkey in our center table the biggest for the family of four. It was a memorable Thanksgiving week for us. Mini Vacation

Our stay had good and bad

We went for 4 ds/3nt with a 3+ HOUR sales pitch. The stay, we had a 1 bd room with a foldout couch. You could tell that is hadn't been used often as had a musty smell but it clean. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with trash bags, liquid soap and dishwasher tabs. The master bed was comfortable but bedding was 2 sheets and uncover duvet. The tub in the master was really loud and strange. It was great to have the washer and dryer. The foldout bed was typical and not very comfortable. The outside maintenance was lacking with mildew covered porches and the little porch wasn't meant to more than standing shoulder to shoulder. The clubhouse needs the most help!!!! This is where you go for the sale pitch; 1- the over use of the air freshener is so strong you can taste it. 2- It is very run down; example restrooms have rust running down the back of the doors and the wall have not been wiped down for some time. 3 The water stains in the lobby were a sign that maintenance was lacking. 4 We were told there is no high pressure with the sale—BIG FAT LIE. Told 3 people no thank you the last person "takes a survey on your salesman" well no one look happy upstairs and one guy was asleep feet on the table. Amazingly with every no meant a new property that was cheaper was presented- hmmm red flag. This was 3 and half hours. When you ask to see an example of what a cottage looks like you get told well we should you 4 bed room.. Yes but that was not a cottage—You buy a deed not a physical property. We used the aquatic center and it was nice. Had an opportunity to speak with a few long time owners they stated that they were happy with the new owner as it a large company and had ownership January 2021. They said maintenance is the biggest issue in the 11 years that they had owned. Renting for vacation we would stay again mostly likely since it was well equipped kitchen. First Time Staying At King's Creek

The time I spent at King's Creek Plantation was nice and relaxing. Although, I brought some food it would have been nice if there was a bar or something to serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or adult drinks. The onsite activities could have been a little more inviting/interesting. The time I spent at King's Creek Plantation was nice and relaxing.
