Disgustingly gross dirty. Clerk/Manager has the nerve to act like it was my fault regarding the filthy issues of the unit. My suggestion is do not go there. VERY disappointing. I have been trading time shares with RCI for 15 years, this place was so bad we had to leave and not enjoy our week of vacaton. Need I say more? Disgustingly gross dirty. Pleasantly surprised

We stayed at Dunes South Condo 307 2 bedroom. I booked this through RCI and I was a little concerned because of the previous reviews, however I wanted to bring our dog and this property is pet friendly. 22 of the units are part of the time share and 10 are privately owned. First the good. The place was clean. I had brought a lot of cleaning supplies expecting to have to clean everything but it was clean. The caulking in the bathrooms were white and looked like it had been done recently. The mattresses must have been fairly new and were very comfortable. The showers had a lot of force and were hot. Plenty of hot water. The location is very good . Some of the units are ocean front but not all. Ours was 2 Condo's back but we could see the beach from the lower deck and we had an upper deck with a view of the ocean. S The beach access did have a lot of sand on it, however the winds were very strong the week we were there. They supply you with linens, 2 packets of dishwasher and laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper and a pot scrubber. This was helpful. There is also a cute little playground for children The staff is nice though not always on property. The lady who checked us in is there on Saturday and Monday and I did not see anyone else there for the rest of the week. However there is a number you can call and they answer quickly and supply you with any information you may need. We did have a toaster that did not work and they replaced this within 15 minutes. You enter the unit from the deck after climbing 14 steps. I think if you were elderly this could be an issue. We have a Bassett Hound and he was OK with this number of steps since this is how we took him out numerous times. Now the not so good. The unit is dated. Everything works but the furniture is older. The carpet seemed clean but there were some burn holes . The furniture had some tears in the fabric. I would definitely book this place again. There has been a change in management and there is now a maintenance man making improvements to the units. He was very visible, very responsive and we saw him almost everyday. Staying in our normal crappy unit. 327.The office staff and maintenance guy are AWESOME. However, the unit sleeps 8, seating for 4 at the dinner table, Mark(I think) found us more chairs. The table barely fits 4. The fridge had broken shelf in the door, broken crisper drawer. The beds are awful, I have to bring an air bed and take the mattress off.. There is NO dresser in the bedroom with 2twin beds(hardly beds) and the nightstands in the double room look like they were pulled out of a dumpster.Several of the kitchen drawers fall out.. My parents have to stuff the couch with pillows so they can sit comfortably, and they have to get help to get up.The railing on the top deck is a little sketchy, and the steps are super slippery when it rains. You can also see where the HOLE was fixed in the bathroom floor when you are in the carport. There were ants, and we found a roach. They are putting in a play set out where the tennis court was. NO ONE WANTS A PLAYSET. We have been coming for YEARS and nothing has been updated. Its just soo sad that nothing has changed here after years of asking. The WiFi is horrible and the mattress is very squeaky the shower in the downstairs bathroom leaks when you are taking a shower. Right on the beach

This is my third year at this resort. The units are outdated but they give you a full kitchen and plenty of space. You can look out your unit and see the ocean. People that run the resort are very friendly and will try to help you with your needs. This is my third year at this resort.
