приятный семейный отдых

Fantastic for families.

An easy 3-4 hour drive from Calais, no sat navy required, very easy road to follow with plenty of rest stops on the way. Located in a lovely forested area, the chalets cater for four or ten. All are spacious and fully equipped from bed linen (a little odd!) to all the pots and pans crockery and stuff you will ever need. Well located to travel almost any where you please but places such as Antwerp and Gene are easy to get to. You may not get to leave the park as facilities to entertain the kids (grandkids) are fantastic and the pool is great. Don't forget to go to the site shop early for the fresh croissants and bread. Fantastic place, we started going in the late 80's with our boys and now take the grand kids and it improves every year. P.S. There are wild Peacocks running around and a wildlife park. Enjoying a week with our camper

Molenheide Park suprised me. I'm not a fan of taking holidays in our own country, but we just bought a new puppy and we couldn't leave the country. So we have booked 5 days with our camper on the last minute. Didn't regret it and we will be back soon. Molenheide Park suprised me. A Nice getaway

Molenheide Park is located in a lovely forested area in North Belgium. Our chalet was very comfortable and just a short walk from an amazing family-cantered swimming/activity building. We were disappointed that the hot tubs were not working for the week we were there. A downside: There are no laundry facilities either in the units or anywhere in the park. Next level compared to Dutch parks

We stayed here during the week of new year 2019. A little background, we usually visit these kind of vacation parks in the Netherlands twice a year. So we have some experience with them. That's why we were pleasantly surprised by Park Molenheide. First off, upon check in we received a free upgrade to a larger cottage. Never happened to me before in NL. There was also a complimentary bottle of champagne and a free stuffed animal for the kids. We loved the spacious cottages which were all located in a wooded area. They are playfully positioned but in such a way that enlarges your sense of privacy. Beds were a bit hard but comfy. And the whole cottage was clean. We missed a fireplace. Which we solved by putting on a 'fireplace' dvd in the home cinema set. Yes home cinema with 5 speakers and a decent sized television. Which had all the Dutch stations btw. There is also a pretty decent free wifi which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. The real cherry on the cake in this park is the indoor playground and swimming pool. The playground is huge! With minigolf in an old mine theme. Loved it. And you can also go bowling (although some lanes were broken) or play pool. The slides in the swimming pool were great, all 4 of them! Often these slides are boring because there's just one and they don't make it very thrilling. They had one like that to here. But next to that you had a ridiculously fast green slide. And a pink one that threw you from left to right. These are the kind of slides the kids will go off all the time (in stead of once). As we brought our dog we loved the adjacent wild park where we could go walking. And we saw wild deer here! I'm forgetting somethings for sure. All in all we will definitely go back here. Very Child Friendly

An excellent place for families, especially with young children. Also a great deal to see in the local area. Definitely a place for cycling enthusiasts. Check what you will be paying for the tourist tax, 2e/person/day and the cost of renting linen. An excellent place for families, especially with young children.
