Just a tick above average.

Having stayed at many Marriott, Hyatt, and Disney resorts, and even a Welk resort, we were hopeful that Spinnaker might have similar standard or at least close. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The unit was well furnished and had ample balconies facing the ocean and that was about the best of it. The floor always seemed dirty and after a couple of hours in bare feet, we found ourselves scrubbing the bottoms to get the dirt off. There was a huge amount of dirt on the back of the refrigerator which grossed us out. There was no extra bedding in the unit like pillows and blankets, although we were given some at the desk when we asked. We were supposed to get a midweek light cleaning but that never happened. The television channels were very sparse and they did not match up with the directory and often channels would change. Not sure why that happened!. The kitchen was very small and had the minimal cooking utensils. The worst thing about this place was the noise! It is located at the busiest intersection and at every traffic signal, vehicles would take off, gunning their engines and the sound would echo in the outer hall. To make matters worse, the door gaskets were severely worn and all night there was persistent noise while we were trying to sleep. The beds were comfortable enough and eventually we got some sleep. The laundry facilities are not in the room and not every floor has a laundry room. They needed an upgrade too. The mats in the outer hall were beat up as well and although the parking garage is convenient the elevator does not go to it so you have to carry your things up and down steps to get to the elevator. I hope this is not the best that Spinnaker has to offer as we have another week currently booked at another location next year. We have been to much better resorts for sure. Ormond Beach in October at Royal Floridian

We enjoyed our 2 bedroom lock out unit in the original Royal Floridian Resort. The view from the 4th floor was amazing. The sun rise each morning was beautiful. There were plenty of lounge chairs and a big pool. The beach is just off the pool area. Since we were there at the end of October, the beach was not crowded. We had beautiful weather, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. We saw dolphins almost daily. We enjoyed our 2 bedroom lock out unit in the original Royal Floridian Resort. The view from the 4th floor was amazing. The sun rise each morning was beautiful. There were plenty of lounge chairs and a big pool. The beach is just off the pool area. Since we were there at the end of October, the beach was not crowded. We had beautiful weather, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. We saw dolphins almost daily.

Florida tour 2021

Really like this resort and location. several restaurants within walking distant. It's about hour and half drive over to Orlando if you chose to visit the parks. we had a day planned at Discovery Cove. Really enjoyed our day there,,,try it if you are looking for something different to do. Really like this resort and location. several restaurants within walking distant. Awesome Resort

Our first visit to this resort and we were not disappointed!! Beautiful and so many amenities. Ocean front 2 bdrm/2bath just great and so clean!! Plenty of room, comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen, big garden tub and full showers, towels unlimited for room and beach!! Beautiful pool/hot tub area, mini-golf, shuffleboard, tiki bar with happy hour prices all day! Gated to beach area, located just minutes from everything you would need/want. The rooms are SO quiet!! Can't hear any neighbors at all. Balconies have nice privacy dividers and plenty of chairs and tables on them over-looking the ocean.Can't wait to return! The beach is so clean and the sand smooth and soft. Everyone here at the resort is so friendly and helpful and they don't bug you about listening to a timeshare sales pitch. Grand Floridian

The rooms on the 3rd floor are outdated, there is one king bed and one queen bed the room with the queen had no curtains which was strange. The pool area was fabulous with a tike bar on site bonus.
