Stay with 14 People September 4
Our visit to Faloria Mountain spa resort in Cortina d'Ampezzo was part of a tour I had organized for 7 couples. Judging from the information on the website and also confirmed by e-mail, we had chosen the Junior Suite categor We arrived and the reception was occupied by 1 person and there were about 6 waiting for us. However, there was a friendly manager who offered us a glass of prosecco, friendly but for a 5 star hotel, 30 minutes waiting time for check-in is below par. Room: We immediately complained that the room was not the room we had reserved based on the information on the website and has also been confirmed. Reserved was a Junior Suite with a separate sleeping and living area (in the attachment the pictured photo and the text "separate living room" on the own website} The answer we got was that the Junior Suite had been given a different name , total nonsense because to this day it is still written as in the photo and also in the confirmation is Junior Suite. In any case, nothing was done with our complaint, despite the confrontation with our own website and our confirmation, it was only said by the lady in the reception that they no longer had Junior suites and they had renamed the rooms to "luxury room" To make matters worse, the bed sheet was also bloodied, admittedly "old blood" and washed but still very annoying. Restaurant: A menu was forwarded to me from which a choice could be made. To my surprise there was a completely different menu on the table, dishes that were on the sent menu had changed and there was clearly savings on the menu compared to the sent. Both in my emails, and at the reception I explained that anyone who orders something to drink or something extra outside of our joint dinner should just be charged on the relevant room number. The drinks that would be drunk during dinner would come on a joint account that 1 person would pay. The latter also happened, only the next day this person was presented with a bill of some drinks that were not consumed in the restaurant, so that the room in question should be taxed. Also, to my great surprise, I received a bill of 60 euros for water consumed during dinner, despite the fact that I think this also falls under the category of consumptions. I just paid for it , but weird though. Conclusion: This hotel is far away from the 5 stars they aim to have. Incredibly friendly people, who do and say what they are told or told. But what a bad organization, I travel regularly but fortunately I have rarely experienced such a thing, very bad! After my complain direct to the Hotel , they called me ( very attent) , but than the communication startet in an "Yes& No" communication, So never ended story , and an upgrade for my next stay. Exceptional location, high end facilities and best in class services. Perfect for families, friends and couples. Care for every single detail is evident and made us feel super comfortable. Great Hotel experience!
We went there with my family and the staff was very kind and cooperative! The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms were very nice, and the location of the hotel is excellent! I will be back!
As it was my first time in Cortina with my kids I wasn’t sure about which location was the most appropriate for them... beside having beautiful hotel rooms with view and high end lounges with quality servicing, I found the Faloria hotel to be the most suitable one for families who are looking to spend some quality time together away from the noises but not from the downtown and its attractions.. I will bring them back surely and I would definitely recommend to give it a go considering the others hotels’ value of money... As it was my first time in Cortina with my kids I wasn’t sure about which location was the most appropriate for them... beside having beautiful hotel rooms with view and high end lounges with quality servicing, I found the Faloria hotel to be the most suitable one for families who are looking to spend some quality time together away from the noises but not from the downtown and its attractions.. best room and best service.. very charming hotel with all confort and aminities, we had very good time! Location its fine and SPA its what you looking for when you want to relax.
