Beautiful Property, Wonderful Staff

We stayed at the Harborside Inn as guests of a timeshare owner and had a wonderful experience, even though it was off season on the Island. We are regular visitors to Edgartown but it has probably been 20 years since my last stay at the Harborside. We were pleasantly surprised to find how well the grounds were kept, the gardening is immaculate and there are plenty of comfortable chairs around the property. There are a bunch of gas fire pits for use right near the harbors edge. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. We were surprised to learn that free parking was provided just a few blocks away (on a piece of property across from the harbor that has to be worth millions of $$). The best part of our stay was the staff. We stayed in the Main Building, everyone at the front desk always warmly greeted us and provided pleasant conversation. The housekeeping staff were always friendly, did a great job with the room. The groundskeepers clearly took great pride in all they did and would provide a "hello" when you walked by. There was plenty of staff working hard throughout our stay even though it was in the offseason. We would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a great time! MVRHS Class of 1970 Reunion

My trip started from Maui, HI to Martha's Vineyard to attend my 50th plus 1 (due to the pandemic), MVRHS Class of 1970 Reunion. The Harborside Inn was the perfect location with all the amenities needed for my stay on Martha's Vineyard. I was greeted with Aloha by Wayne and Greg upon my arrival. The staff was outstanding in every way possible. The grounds and my room were immaculate. All CDC guidelines were followed and visible by guest and staff which gave a great sense of security. After my long flights, driving, and ferry to enter my room I knew I was in the perfect location to enjoy my class reunion which was steps away at the Edgartown Yacht Club. My reunion was a momentous affair and the Harborside Inn was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views from my balcony. After my departure I received a phone call from Wayne, informing me that a few clothes were found in my room and that he would like to return them via mail. I thanked him for going the extra mile and customer service he and his staff gave during my return to MV. Mahalo, Harborside Inn for a great week. Beautiful HARBOR-FRONT oasis in the heart of historic Edgartown

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I LOVE this waterfront resort!!! Can’t say enough wonderful things about the Harborside Inn!!! My family and I come for a seaside escape every September, and each year is more delightful than the last! Directly on Edgartown Harbor, with breathtaking waterfront views this resort is right in the heart of downtown. You’ll find no better views and no better location. You can walk to everything: restaurants, shopping, entertainment, movie theater, book stores, galleries, historical sites, ancient whaling Captain's homes, stunning gardens, beaches, a museum, hotels, bus transit, Chappy Ferry and just about all activities that historic Edgartown has to offer. It is also the perfect base to explore the rest of the awe-inspiring island of Martha’s Vineyard. The grounds & landscaping overlook the harbor and are visually spectacular with beautiful flower gardens, lush green lawns & brick walkways. To add to your enjoyment and to greatly enhance your visit the Harborside Inn provides great amenities including a wonderful, crystal clear, outdoor heated pool, a BBQ patio with 5 gas grills plus outdoor café tables/chairs with umbrellas for outdoor dining, 3 mesmerizing harbor-front firepits, and an expansive sundeck with amazing views of the pool, the gardens, & Edgartown Harbor. The sundeck has rocking chairs and tables & chairs for snacks, drinks, games, & socializing with others, while enjoying the warmth of the sun's rays, the sights, sounds & scents of the sea & the grandeur of the many yachts that grace the Harborside docks. The Harborside also provides ongoing weekly activities for the guests like yoga & musical entertainment and guided activities for children. Off the lobby is a lovely guest lounge overlooking the harbor and in the fireplace room is a computer corner. Half of the guest rooms have either water-view balconies or patios. Every room is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with mini-fridges, free wi-fi, flat screen cable TV, Keurig machines, and either A/C or heat. Many of the interior common areas and guest rooms have been recently renovated this year, with the rest of the rooms on-track for renovations in the upcoming seasons, adding a very upscale, luxurious experience. If you bring a car to the island there is also free parking. It is 1/3 of a mile down beautiful, historic South Water St. - a short & very scenic walk amidst the trees and waterfront homes of the ancient whaling sea captains from yesteryear. (Though it is a 5 minute walk away, many places in Edgartown have NO designated parking at all.) The Harborside Inn is my home away from home and the managers & staff make you feel just that - that you are at home and part of their family. Every year I’m so impressed by how genuinely friendly & gracious this staff is. The entire team follow the same vision & professional ethic of delivering the highest level of hospitality and paying exquisite attention to every detail. It’s all about the customer and they treat their guests extremely well, providing exceptional customer service. They all work incredibly hard and they bend over backwards to fulfill guests’ every little need and request, to keep guests happy and feeling welcome & important. In sincere gratitude for the brilliant customer service I have to name a few names of staff members with whom I’ve always had lots of great, pleasant, positive interaction. Greg, the Manager & Celine, Assistant Manager who are both so wonderful, professional, personable and doing an extraordinary job running the ship and surpassing customer expectations. So much love & appreciation to the Front Desk staff - Majorie, James & Debby - so friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful, & accommodating. Karen - Head of Housekeeping - is a powerhouse beyond belief with the most incredible work ethic and such an amazing rapport with the guests, and also highest praises to the regulars on her awesome, trustworthy Housekeeping Team – especially Charmaine, AnnMarie, Doris, etc… Many cheers to the terrific guys behind the scenes - Andre & Tim from Maintenance who work like crazy and have the best people-skills, accommodating guests promptly & graciously. Even the Bell Crew, who cheerfully carry your luggage up & down flights of stairs (WARNING - there are no elevators!) And I could never forget Captain Ed, the Dock Master, Extraordinaire, who takes excellent care of the yacht & boat captains and does his job to perfection. WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU ALL! I can't recommend Edgartown's Harborside Inn highly enough! If you're looking for a waterfront escape on an enchanted island there's always something to do at, or near the Harborside Inn. Or, if it’s your preference, it's also the perfect place to do nothing at all! Phenomenal Spot

Harborside Inn is a wonderful vacation spot. Great harbor views, close to restaurants and shops. Very clean . The staff is fantastic. Beautiful views!

This lovely hotel offers just about everything anyone could ask for. Close to everything and the most breathtaking views. An added bonus: The staff support team were wonderful and made us feel quite special. A special thank you to Greg and Wayne who certainly went out of their way to make us feel special.
