The resort is great and the staff is very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. The amenities include, a great outdoor salt water pool, indoor pool, hot tub, miniature golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, boating, a beautiful marina, golf and easy access to beautiful, charming, historic New Bern. Convenient

We enjoyed our stay here. The units are outdated but they are upgrading. It is convenient to amenities. The Rec Center was great and convenient. We had access to bikes. There was kayak rental near-by. Historic New Bern was fun and there was fishing. There were a lot of eating places in a short drive. The staff was great. We would stay here again. Dirty and pest infested

If you are concerned about cleanliness, this is NOT the place for you. A lack of maintenance made us focus instead on the giant cockroach under feet while on the toilet and the numerous spiders and bugs running all over the place. Terrible check-in where they couldn't find the reservation until we showed them our confirmation, emails from them and proof of pre-payment. They found a unit that was supposedly clean (although they called someone and asked for a walk-through to confirm that before our arrival). When we got to the unit, the thick coat of spider webs covering the front door suggested that no one had checked the unit, and, in fact, the even thicker coat of webs going out to the deck suggested this unit had been vacant for a while. Cigarette butts littered the front porch. We wiped obvious areas of filth on walls, doors, knobs, counters and clickers and came away with several blackened wipes. We checked the air conditioning filter, and it had what must have been years of dirt. We called maintenance, and, to their credit, they sent over a polite man in minutes with a new filter, explaining they had been on back-order until that very day. The army of ants, the dirty and rusty oven, pans that should have been tossed ages ago all kept us from using the kitchen. We didn’t bother to complain because this company obviously has a different standard than we do. Fortunately, for us, we brought our own sheets and pillows and had one less thing to worry about. Roach Hole

We were so excited to begin our vacation! All of the staff was extremely friendly and the amenities were nice as well. Our issue....the townhouse was filthy! Cockroaches and spiders. It's apparent they don't use a pest control company. The place does come with a can of roach, ant and spider spray. Hmmmmm.....they must know it's a problem. The kitchen sink drips continually. All for the want of a washer. The bathroom sink drain is obviously clogged because it takes forever for the water to go down. How do you not notice any of this when cleaning? The overall cleanliness.....disgusting! They need to fire whoever is in charge of cleaning the units. That or buy them a pair of glasses because they must be BLIND! The place is in need of some tlc and elbow grease. There appeared to be feces on the wall behind the toilet paper and the showers....beyond gross. The molding around the shower is rotted and covered in black mold. Around the knobs of the white closet doors is black with filth. The manual with all of the contacts and other information for the resort was sticky and disgusting. The area itself is beautiful. However, I would consider choosing another place to stay until they get their act together in the housekeeping department. No wonder they highlight the portion of the policy that states they are not responsible if you get covid. There is no way the place was disinfected following covid-19 protocols. Nice area

We had a great view and nice rooms. The place was mostly clean, we found dead roaches in the sliding door tracks, and had ants in the kitchen. The pools were nice. There was nothing else to do at the resort. No place for any food, all the restaurants were closed. We had a great view and nice rooms.
