Excellent stay

Stay was excellent at sterling ooty. Also food and service was good. I liked staff hospitality specifically Sujeeta, Srijana and Manjunath from front desk. Excellent stay

After a 10 hr journey, just reaching sterling made us feel it was all worth it. Sher Singh ji and his staff made sure all our requirements were met with a smiling face. The property is well organised, rooms are good and view is awesome. Ooty might not have much but this mades it worth it. Wnderfull stay

In sterling elk hill we had wonderfull stay. We enjoyed alot.... Room was very neat and clean.. Food was excelent. And Sujeeta was very pretty.she informed us about the hotel abd room amenities.. Irregularities at Sterling resort.

We , as members, booked a studio room for three days at Sterling Elk Hill , at Ooty. As per norm, we had to pay ₹ 1300 apprx. for each day of stay as Utility Charges. We did not get a proper wi fi there. It was so weak and disturbing that we had no option but to forget it. The utility charges are levied for things to be used in the rooms provided that includes electricity, linen, etc. There should have been a small kitchenette with utensils and small grocery store inside resort, as was promised while becoming the member. There was no such facilities. It is further to be noted that an annual amenity charge of ₹ 4000 apprx is also charged with members like us but the promises facilities are not provided. Further notable fact is that I decided to leave a day earlier as against my three days booking. To my utter shock, cancellation charge of ₹ 850/- was taken and the cancelled day is also not credited into my account. There is feeling of being cheated at every step as member of this Sterling resort. Good thing was that the resort was beautiful. But at restaurant a GST on food was charged as 18 percent whereas it should have been charged as 5 percent only. Front office told that it is because of the reason that rooms of hotels have tarriff of ₹7500 /- plus so it is applicable. But let me clarify that to the best of my knowledge none of the rooms had this rate. This is another irregularity. Appropriate authority and Resort management should take right steps to remove these irregularities and initiate a confidence and trust building measure among members. Stay at Sterling Ooty Elk Hill , December 2021

One of the best resorts on the top of the valley , offering you a panoramic view of the entire city. The rooms are well ventilated with modern equipments. The striking out feature has to be the hospitality and in food section, it offers variety of authentic dishes in both North and South Indian cuisine. Also, I would like to mention about chef Mr. Sher Singh who literally looks after each single guest and cater to their needs.
