Awesome location and activities.

We have been owners in Massanutten for over 25 years and watched the resort evolve over time to become a real four season resort. Being at this location opens the mind and allows the visitor to fully enjoy the environment. Very disappointing--The Summit at Massanutten

This is the 1st negative review I have ever wrote. I have loved Massanutten for 20+years. Bedbugs in unit #141. New unit was #111 very noisy b/c of snow-making machine ran all night--beware of bedbugs. This is the 1st negative review I have ever wrote. I have loved Massanutten for 20+years. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a great time! Big enough for the whole family of 16!!!!!!! Owners at Eagle Trace for over 20-years but had to trade up for the space as kids grew up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comin back next year with trade through RCI for two units to have enough space for entire family. Had a great time! Big enough for the whole family of 16!!!!!!! The Summit

The resort is amazing. I requested a 4 bedroom and was given 2 apartments. Very nice surprise ! Great for 8 family members. Plenty to do even with no snow. My only concern was the slow response to the maintenance requests as one of them involved a safety issue. The resort is amazing. I requested a 4 bedroom and was given 2 apartments. We stayed in a 4 bedroom lockout, sharing accommodations with our son & his family. It was a great time to be together! Because of the 2 bedroom lockout, it allowed each their own space, while an open door policy allowed togetherness when desired. Be aware the lower unit has NO stove or oven, but does come with a 2 burner hotplate & free standing griddle. Fortunately between the two unites we could share cooking & dining in. The units sleep 6 and come with only a set of 6 dishes. One meal and you run your dishwasher. One complaint was how long it took to get hot water. In the lower unit, I never washed my hands with anything but cold water the entire week, though it took awhile, we did have hot water in the master shower. In the upper unit, they never got hot water in the spa tub. This was reported, though not fixed during our stay. Overall, I would return, though alone, my choice would be the upper unit -more commonly known as the A side. Also, while we were charged an activities fee per bedroom, per day many - read MOST - activities do not take place in the late fall. Kids went out to swim - 7 pm, oops, closed. Kids wanted to swim 11 am - oops doesn't open until 12. Really disappointed in the forced added expense - $7 per bedroom x 4 bedroom x 7 days = $196 for nothing but 4 kids on wi-fi occasionally. I hate this way of doing business in a timeshare industry that I see as being overtaken by VRBO, Homeaway, Air B&B, etc that provides greater flexibility at a reasonable price.
