Great hotel

Lovely hotel, great location on the Gap, 3rd time we have been. Lovely apartments, all the amenities in the room, cooker, fridge freezer, ice making machine and ice machines on 2 floors if you need extra. Lovely and clean rooms also. Divi south winds

We stayed at divi south winds for a 2 week holiday It was a bit last minute as our other holidays had been cancelled due to covid and was booked 10 days prior to arrival so didn’t really do my usual research before booking the hotel. Was very annoyed to find upon arrival that both restaurants on site were closed and due to quarantine for the first 24hours until results were received we were literally stuck for food we had to buy some bread and butter and cereal from the shop on site to feed us and the 2 kids The play park is closed on site so my youngest couldnt play there but the small golf course baskets ball court and tennis courts were open and they had a great time on those. Other than the fact there is no food on site and very few bars and restaurants open on the gap( can imagine pre covid the gap would be thriving) pure ocean restaurant opened up towards the end of our stay and we’ll I’ve gotta say the breakfast and lunch menu they offer is lovely big shout out to the chefs there they can cook the hotel is lovely although the sofa beds could do with some extra cushioning it’s clean and welcoming staff are really friendly and nothing is too much for them. Beach is absolutely spectacular and is by far one of the best we visited. Watch out for the seaweed you can see it coming in from far off in the ocean but make sure your out the water before it hits because it’s a lot. dinner was so good

Very pleasant stay here. Staff were very pleasant and helpful even though it was my quarantine hotel. The rooms are excellent. The one thing that needs attention is the television provision provision. The picture quality was poor on both TVs in the room. Otherwise a good experience and I look forward to visiting again. The Best Trip Ever!

The BEST Vacation Ever! This was my 1st visit to "Divi Southwinds" Barbados. On Arrival, I met Wanda and Elizabeth, they extended a very warm and professional Welcome, which made my sisters and I feel right at home. The front desk staff including Pat and Tyrone, were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Pamela and the other housekeeping staff, did a great job at keeping our suite clean. Not to mention the Security and Grounds staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. My vacation was priceless!! For example, I had to get some documents notarized, and the front desk made the necessary arrangements and I was able to complete that task in a breeze. My suite was clean and I enjoyed my stay. I am already making plans to go back at Christmas (December). Browns and Pebbles beach were the best, the nice clear water was to die for!! you can spend hours just lying in that crystal clear salty water.... feels soo good...umm. You got to visit Barbados!!!! Divi Southwinds

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was courteous and friendly. However, they should be more forthcoming about how the COVID pandemic has effected their operation. On the website there are pictures of “all inclusive”, but the restaurant on site is closed along with the pool bar. We didn’t find out these amenities weren’t available until we arrived.
