Terrible place to stay - at least in the winter

We stayed here in the winter and it was literally freezing temperatures. The units only had leaking natural gas heaters in the common room, but not in the bedrooms. The smell of natural gas was pretty horrible. Our concerns were blown off and we were told it was fine and to not worry about it. The heaters put out a lot of water vapor and the walls were dripping with water and the towels never dried. There were no amenities at the "resort" at all. There was no restaurant and nothing within walking distance. Our extra blankets, so necessary to deal with the freezing temps, were removed from our unit after the first night, for no reason. We left after one night and did not return. RCI refunded my points, but those points expired in very few weeks, with no time to plan another vacation to use them. Tranquil setting, wonderful staff

The staff here are the best part of this property, altho the beauty and tranquility are extremely high. Staff went out of their way to make this a great visit in a great location. It's a bit remote from the city itself, so it would have been better had we rented a car. Many of the appliances did not work, but this is a small annoyance. People at this property is very friendly. They helped us in all we needed, including information about touristic places. House is great and comfortable.
