Вполне достойный вариант

Чистый и опрятный номер со всеми удобствами, в т.ч. хорошие наборы для душа (гель, шампунь). Расположение у отеля отличное, рядом с набережной и рядом с площадью независимости - центральным местом города. Питание (завтрак) отличное, достаточно широкий выбор. Check-in и check-out оформляют быстро. Чистый и опрятный номер со всеми удобствами, в т.ч. хорошие наборы для душа (гель, шампунь). Старенький, но вполне добротный

Расположен на самом берегу, шикарный вид на бухту Монтевидео. Можно выйти на крышу и верхний ярус, где должен быть спортивный зал, которого нет:) Но зато стоит кулер с бутилированной водой. Оборудование отеля старенькое, но все есть и работает. До главной достопримечательности Palacio Salvo 7мин пешком и 15 до площади Plaza de Cagancha, где расположены обменники с приемлемым курсом, которые еще и в выходные работают. В аэропорт Carrasco за 63 песо можно доехать на автобусах от расположенного рядом Terminal Baltasar Brum. Завтрак из горячего - омлет и сосиски. Спокойный отель с прекрасным видом на Ла Плата

Спокойный , уютный отель, доброжелательный персонал. Номера без излишней роскоши, но все очень комфортно. Прекрасный вид из номера на реку Ла Плата и популярнейшую набережную Рамбла. Хорошие завтраки, вечером можно поужинать в ресторане отеля с хорошей кухней и винами. Рядом Старый город, центр, недалеко порт и портовый рынок Пуэрто Меркадо с вкуснейшим мясом. Пешие прогулки по улочкам доставят несравнимое удовольствие. Спокойный , уютный отель, доброжелательный персонал. Номера без излишней роскоши, но все очень комфортно. Длинная набережная - одна из прелестей Монтевидео и этот отель находится прямо на набережной. Открываешь окно и в номере свежий воздух с залива, жалко что окна не панорамные и нет балконов. Номера нормальные без изысков, обслуживание как и в других отелях сети. Рядом пешеходно-туристические улицы с ресторанчиками и магазинчиками. Хороший отель в опасном месте.

Сам отель достаточно уютный и чистый. Персонал доброжелательный, но хотелось бы лучшего знания английского языка. Хорошая терраса на последнем этаже, великолепные виды на океан и на крыши старого города. Отель расположен недалеко от порта, удобно тем, кто приплывает на пароме из Аргентины. Но близость к порту и старому бедному району города имеет свои недостатки. Вокруг много пьяных, а также людей с угрюмыми лицами. В вечернее время может быть очень опасно, много криминальных подростков. На наших глазах пытались сорвать сумку с плеча туристки, даже среди других людей. Были случаи грабежей. What a dump with poor service

Things turned bad from the minute we checked in. Almost no English spoken. Room was dirty and we had to ask to have it cleaned each day. Shower broken. Floors/carpet dirty. They never got one meal we ordered right. I spoke to the Sales Manager about our issues as she was the only one I could find who spoke English. She was sympathetic, or appeared so. Late that afternoon we had a 300ml bottle of cold water delivered to our room on a tray with the compliments of the Manager. I assume this was instead of the free bottle they were supposed to supply as part of the rate. Things turned bad from the minute we checked in. Almost no English spoken. Stay away!

We booked this hotel because of its NH Brand. We had just had a very good experience in Mexico City. The first glitch was that our pre-arranged taxi failed to show up at the airport, despite previous emails. Then, Imagine our shock when we arrived to find that this property was in the midst of major construction. The lobby is enormous, really inhospitable; there were a couple of couches and tables and that was it. When we reached our room, the view was very good, overlooking the Rambla. However, it was nothing like the Mexico City property, where the rooms are styled in a very cool way, and are spotless. Here, the carpet was stained, the wall covering also stained and peeling in places. The window shades and curtains showed dirt that looked like it had been there, overlooked, for quite a while. We finally found a single charging receptacle under the desk; as described on the website, there was an in-room safe, but when we asked for the combination, we were informed that ‘none of the safes in the hotel are working.’ Really, words can’t describe how ugly this room was. The rundown condition extended to the communal area. The same peeling and stained hallway carpet and wallpaper; the gym is lackluster, minimal equipment; and the rooftop terrace, while offering good views, was dirty, had nowhere to sit and the potted plants had been dead for some time; couldn’t leave fast enough! The dining room has a very nice view of the rambla, and the staff were very pleasant. The buffet options are reasonable, but get there early if you want the full buffet - some fruit, cheese plates disappear quite early and don’t get replenished. You can order eggs, with bacon, sausage, cooked to order - scrambled, omelettes - and this is a good addition. So why didn’t we leave upon arrival? It was a summer weekend, we didn’t know the city, and we had been traveling around the region for quite some time. We are an elderly couple and decided to put up with it. When the renovations are complete, this facility should be a good option, since the proximity to the Ciudad Vieja, Centro, and the Rambla is very good. But until then, buyer beware. Adding insult to injury, we had to pay the full rate - well over $200 per night; there was absolutely no offer of a reduction, or credit, to make up for the dismal stay. Not up to NH standards

Booked based on NH reputation worldwide but turned out to be a total deception. First of all, when booking we were not informed the hotel was under renovations. We were assigned a dark old room with a small bathroom that clearly needed restorations. The hallways were dark and seemed dirty. Would not recommend this to someone looking for standard acommodations, in fact we turned out switching hotels. Booked based on NH reputation worldwide but turned out to be a total deception. Good location, undergoing building work

A decent modern hotel, good location on Rambla and edge of old city. The room is good for this part of the world, staff are pleasant and speak basic English, as I speak basic Spanish. Some nice bars within walking distance as well as bus terminal. The hotel was having a makeover of the lobby area so it was rather noisy and cluttered. Great location

Great location within walking distance of major attractions at Ciudad Vieja and right next to the Rambla on the shore line. Breakfast with a view. You can rent bikes at the front desk.
