Замечательный отель

Были в мае почти целый месяц в этом отеле с двумя маленькими детьми. Для детей предусмотрена детская площадка с горками, закрытые игровые комнаты для детей разного возраста. Малышам скучать не давали. Питание было очень хорошее. Фрукты, овощи, мясо и рыба на гриле. С удовольствием приехала еще раз. Были в мае почти целый месяц в этом отеле с двумя маленькими детьми. Самые лучшие воспоминания о отдыхе

Была уже ни один раз в этом отеле и в этом чудесном месте! Самые лучшие воспоминания о Мексике именно оттуда. На территории отеля есть все для идеального отдыха, из окон вид на океан. Если приехать в начале февраля - можно успеть на миграцию китови поехать к ним на лодке. Потрясающая кухня (как и во всей Мексике), прекрасный персонал, отличная развлекательная программа и спа. Была уже ни один раз в этом отеле и в этом чудесном месте! Самые лучшие воспоминания о Мексике именно оттуда. На территории отеля есть все для идеального отдыха, из окон вид на океан. Если приехать в начале февраля - можно успеть на миграцию китови поехать к ним на лодке. Потрясающая кухня (как и во всей Мексике), прекрасный персонал, отличная развлекательная программа и спа.

Did not disappoint again

Ive been to the Melia Puerto Vallarta a few years back with one child and did not disappoint. We decided to try again with 2 children and definitely did not disappoint again. We were apprehensive at first just because of certain reviews but all I can say we all loved it. The nightly shows, the daily family activities for the kids, the food and attentions were great. Anniversary not

We asked for a king size bed Oceanside got two twin beds Ocean View in a musty room. Was charged for $60 unexplained charges. Watch for the bait and switch massage lady price was much higher and did not get a 80-minute massage. Book The Rhythm of the Night it was wonderful. Pool was full of hundreds of children so we ended up swimming in the ocean. Had the same food everyday had to deal with a couple of bad attitudes even though we tipped well. Watch out for the Shady taxi driver that will try to take it to his cousins restaurant when you ask to go to the malecon. The area the taxi driver decided upon his self to take us to was very very sketchy. My husband said no malecon now. This hotel caters to the locals or Latinos. Since we only had twin beds in our room we slept apart even though it was our anniversary could not get a reservation unless you line up which we did not want to do so eight buffet food every day until we ventured out on our own and ate at other restaurants. We totally made the best of it and enjoyed the authentic rustic local experience at this hotel. We saw hermit crabs at night as we brought our own flashlight but make sure you check in your bag cuz the Customs will throw it away. The pool needs help

The staff at Melia are great. They were all very friendly and helpful. The room was great and provided a great view of the bay. The bathrooms are incredible. The food was alright but nothing to write home about. The only real problem was maintenance, pool maintenance and overall commons area maintenance. The pool filters quit working the day I arrived so after just 2 days I would not swim in it. Too many things floating in the pool and the water got pretty murky. Also saw a couple of electrical outlets hanging out of the wall with wires exposed in some common areas. My guess is these areas will be addressed soon. The staff at Melia are great. Overall Good Experience

Overall we had a good experience. I saw some of the 1-Star reviews about the food before we left and was concerned. There are some limitations on restaurant availability, but the food is OK. They are short staffed so you need to be patient, but the staff that are there really do a great job and try hard. Overall we had a good experience.
