Отличное место для отдыха!
Отличный отель для семейного отдыха.Мы останавливались в сьюте компанией из 5 человек.Большая гостинная комната, 2 спальни,холодильник, кухня, посуда и так далее.Большой обеденный стол, просторная лоджия, 2 ванных комнаты . Номера чистые и уютные. На территории отеля есть фитнесс зал, бассейн, джакузи, минигольф, бильярдные столы, тенисные столы. Очень классно провели время.Недалеко от отеля расположен парк развлечений Busch Gardens.Всем советую! Big Change From 12 Years Ago
We stayed at this resort in 2009 and found it to be a desirable place to stay. This time, however, we were not as pleased. Upon check-in, we were assigned a unit on the second floor of the building. At that time, I inquired as to whether there might be a ground floor room we could have. I was told by Lori/Laurie that they had given out all the ground floor rooms. I was disappointed but understood because we checked in after 10:00 pm. At that point, I was still amenable and understanding. There were no elevators, so my daughter and I carried luggage up those steps 6 times. I am 72 and have asthma and hip problems, so it was somewhat painful for me, but I did what I had to do. When we tried to enter the room, our key wouldn’t work. My daughter decided to drive back to the check-in in case we needed a different key. In the meantime, I called the front desk to see if we were doing something wrong since we weren’t familiar with using the bracelet keys. The person who answered the phone checked and said she gave us the wrong room number. The correct room required us to go back outside the building in order to access the new room which was also on the second floor. I mentioned that meant we would have to haul all our luggage down the steps, go back outside the building, and then drag all our luggage up another flight of steps. She said she was sorry but offered no alternative. (May I say here that there seemed to be an awful lot of units around the resort in which we never saw lights at night, and the parking lots were unusually empty, so we were at a loss to understand why we were not given a ground floor room somewhere within the 39-40 buildings on the grounds.) In the meantime, my daughter had gone to the person who checked us in (Lori or Laurie checked us in around 11:00-11:30 pm on Saturday night, November 27) to inquire about why our key wouldn’t work (she did not know I had spoken with anyone). Lori or Laurie was quite snippy with her and told her I had already called and that we were given an incorrect room number. My daughter, realizing the problem this would create, asked if there was perhaps anyone who could help us with our luggage to which Lori or Laurie didn’t miss a beat saying there was no one available to help us. My daughter was furious when she returned because of this person’s attitude. It certainly got our week off to a not very happy start. Having said this, we did find other personnel to be pleasant and helpful. The maintenance person we met and the checkout clerk were both quite nice. The accommodations themselves seemed to be in an older section of the resort, but were relatively clean and comfortable enough for the two of us. I’m not one to complain about not having the best accommodations, but I do expect courtesy from the personnel I encounter, not rudeness. Colonial Williamsburg
We have stayed at this resort before and it is always a convenient location to Colonial Williamsburg. The one bedroom with mini kitchen is perfect and comfortable for a couple. We had to change rooms because the mattress was uncomfortable and the next room wasn’t any better. My rating would have been higher if the mattress was replaced. I would still highly recommend this resort for all the other amenities, the location, and the cleanliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Colonial Williamsburg! The Old and the Dreadful
Let me start by saying that the property itself and the amenities are nice which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1. However the unit was disgusting. I’ve never seen so much dust and filth in a resort before. It was awful! We had to find a store and go buy cleaning supplies. There was almost an inch of thick dark dust on the air vents, top and back of TVs, phone, and ledges. The furniture and appliances were so old and outdated. Not to mention everything smelled like mold and mildew. We called to get another unit but Jonathon said they were all the same. Some of the people working were so nice and kind Michael, Jessica, and the security gentleman. However some were awful! The manager Jennifer, Jonathon, and a few others I don’t know the names of. We spent a full day just going to get supplies and cleaning. That’s a lot when you’re only there for 3 days. The worst part is the day we left we all got sick with horrible sinus infections! Definitely from the dirt and dust! I’m actually still sick 8 days later. Never again! Poor quality accommodations and price is misleading.
This is a timeshare resort . Upon checking in was hit with the sales pitch and was notified of a additional charge of $8.00 per night for the use of the Wifi , swimming pool and several other items which I did't use except for the wifi. Beautiful view of 11 heat pumps from our bedroom for the other rooms in the building. Management must house paying customers in one less desirable area to save the other better rooms for members. Surprised I wasn't charged extra for the mice which stayed with us the last two nights was reported to the front desk upon check out had that feeling they really didn't care since I was not a member. Won't be planning any more visits with Wyndham Kingsgate This is a timeshare resort . The resort staff was very nice the grounds and building from outside is beautiful but in the units the furniture was outdated they could’ve had a few more games in arcade room. But we had fun overall.
