Great stay

Very nice people, great service in resort and in the area. Best sleep I've had, the room was very cozy. Felt safe for my parking even if not parked in a garage. Had no problems there in the whole week we stayed. Very nice people, great service in resort and in the area. Best sleep I've had, the room was very cozy. Bavarian Style Resort in Lake Placid type setting!

Originally opened in 1928, and had many famous celebrities who had stayed there. Home to the famous four sided fireplace in the lobby/ seating area. Our 1 bedroom was conveniently located just off the grand stair down to the June Lake main road (highway 158) within walking distance of the General Store and various eateries. Our room had a well designed mini kitchen. Stayed there 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Within 10 miles from the Tioga Pass east entrance to Yosemite National Park. in between Yosemite and Mammoth

great place to stay in our adventure trip, the staff was very helpful, June lake is actually very pretty, we did a hike going up the mountain and bike the northshore loop , paddleboard at the lake , access yosemite too in a couple of days great place to stay in our adventure trip, the staff was very helpful, June lake is actually very pretty, we did a hike going up the mountain and bike the northshore loop , paddleboard at the lake , access yosemite too in a couple of days

Good location

The place was old and could use an update. It was clean. Their front desk has someone working there only starting at 4p - ??. I couldn't ask any questions before 4pm. I didn't really see anyone working while we were there except for one cleaning person. Do go to June Lake until after Memorial Day weekend. All their restaurants are closed Mon-Wed and their brewery opened Thursday - Saturday? We left on a Friday so I'm not sure if the brewery was opened on Friday-Saturday. Beautiful Area

The area is beautiful. The town quaint and friendly. There is plenty to do for a week, or as we did for two weeks. However, the resort does not take advantage of the scenic beauty it possesses. June and Gull Lakes are in front of the resort, but there is only two lounge chairs to take in the view for the entire resort. The lounge area in the resort sport a very tall three sided fireplace that would be wonderful in the winter. There are coffee/tea and other drink stations in the lounge. There is ample, safe parking. The kitchen, although small, is fully equipped. The resort has excellent wifi, good T-Mobile Cell coverage, and good cable TV. The area is beautiful. The town quaint and friendly.
