Very comfortable resort...

The staff in this resort were really top notch... The resort itself was conveniently located and pretty easy to get to from the local train station... It was easy to tell the unit I was in had been updated recently, and it was really comfortable. The grounds could use some refreshing, especially the flower boxes that could add a great amount color and warmth to the outside areas... I would definitely stay here again... Had a lovely time in Portugal for the first time. Hotel room was nice to look at, comfy beds and pillows! Although I was very unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, I couldn't walk on the floor without my shoes on. My feet and socks were black, it was just really dusty even after the cleaners had been in and mopped. Towels wasn’t clean after I had used them, they must had just folded and put back up as they were wet for my next use. Nice atmosphere around the pool but no life guards were to be seen. I had to ring reception to ask for some more toilet paper, I waited 30mins still no toilet paper until I went walking to look for the cleaner. Ants were all over the bedroom floor when I arrived for my stay. Although, I didn’t let the lows ruin my holiday I visited other places of albufeira which were beautiful!!! Improvements need to be made: Cleanliness of the floor really needs to be sorted, it was so dusty and dirty even when they had mopped (must of been just water) Tell cleaners to renew towels after ive used them they were hung back up wet. Now at home I would never ever use a towel twice! Ant/ bug spray should be supplied in the hotel rooms. Ants were all over the bedroom floor, again needed my shoes! We stayed here for 2 weeks in a private rental apartment 430 we found on line Nothing bad to say Most impressed place was clean and close to pools and other amenities WiFi was good and it came with apartment. Had over 100 tv channels and could connect to Netflix and such. Apartment is situated in a quiet part and children will be safe You do need a car to exploit he wider area is a must Resort it 26 mins from airport and easy to find. There are supermarkets close by Casa Azul restaurant which needs a special mention also has a pool and free loungers Carlos and his staff were helpful and courteous and food was great I recommended you visit. Location and what's with the towels?

The resort is conveniently located not too far out of town. It was a long walk to Old Town and a quick trip by cab. Some units are in a great location surrounding the pools. Others are close to a noisy road. We stayed in 2 units because they made us change units after a week. The first unit was in a so-so location with not the most pleasant view. The unit was a little run down. It smelled and the blankets were stained. (The smell went away when we put the blankets outside and asked for replacements.) There were no towels in the unit. The second unit was at the edge of the resort next to a noisy road. They were able to accommodate our request to move, and we ended up with a very nice, newly remodeled unit by the pool. Still, the workmanship was not of good quality; the shutters were broken and the closed doors failed to shut. It took us 3 days to get extra towels as they only provided us with 2 bath towels (no hand towels.) When we checked in there was another couple asking about getting towels in their room. The restaurants by the pool are independently owned and the service was very good. Food quality just ok (except for breakfast which was great!) No WiFi in the rooms. WiFi available only by the pools. Poor position, poor wifi

Biggest problem is that the Wifi is very poor. When i complained to reception that the wifi speed was 0.1 mbps and you could not view anything she explained that you cannot get wifi in the apartments. Tough luck, we dont care.
