The place to stay in Puerto Vallarta!

The staff and facilities are great at this resort. And, unlike Nuevo Vallarta, it is not another Miami Beach high rise hotel. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants the weather and scenery of Hawaii at a reasonable price. Every apartment has an unimpeded view of the Pacific ocean because its right on the Beach. The staff and facilities are great at this resort. Wish We Lived Here!

We love it here! Would live here if we could! The location and view are incredible and it's nice to have La Playita, with their smiling faces and good service, so nearby. As a previous traveler noted, the staff of both Lindo Mar and La Playita, are exceptional and feel like friends. Claudia always goes out of her way to accommodate our requests. We rent or exchange here and she always does her best to get us our favorite room, #606. Maria Elena, the concierge, does a great job. She makes sure that the Covid testing is well organized and results are distributed. Ivan is always friendly as he's setting out chairs and handing out towels. He even delivers water to our room. His English is outstanding, a statement true of much of the staff. Joel (not sure I got the name right) and the rest of the guys that round up taxis are always prompt and happy to help you on your way, The entire staff is as pleasant and helpful as one could every wish for. They are like family and most are still there every time we go back, which is as often as possible!!!! (My only desire is a little less noise from housekeeping in the mornings as the bedroom windows aren't so soundproof and we'll be glad when the renovation construction is finished!) We love it here! LindoMar - Always a little piece of paradise.

As with many owners, it had been quite some time since i had the opportunity to come to PV & spend time at my favorite place in the world! It was wonderful to see so see so many of the staff still here from years done by & the fact that they greet you like a long lost brother. You just don't find that sort of warm& fuzzy at many of the larger hotels. We specifically came down to celebrate my wife's big birthday on the 14th, knowing that i could be sure that the staff at LM would make it an even more special occasion, & of course i wasn't wrong. We've eaten at La Playita on many occasions over the last 2 weeks & have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. The Pasta night & the burger night were also good as a change from the regular menu The room (804) was, of course, incredible, i'll never tire of that view!! Particular kudos to: Claudia & Manuel on the front desk, for their ability to always have a smile & an answer to your question Pablo - Restaurant manager, he & his staff mage my wife's birthday very memorable with an enormous cake! Special mentions to Raul, Alejandra, Faustino for their service in the restaurant & Patricio, Isadoro & Abraham for their incredible Mixology talents. We were sorry to see that Eduardo was no longer at LM, you could always count on him to be scooting around the pool & beach at Happy hour! Veronica - for her helpful hands to relieve the stress of our 'other lives' Ivan - Always a happy smile with a towel in one hand & a sun lounger in the other. Maria Elana, she Is probably LM's greatest asset, have any of us, ever met a more helpful & genuine concierge on their travels around the world, i know i haven't! She also ordered me the most beautiful flowers for my wife's birthday. And of course the rest of the staff who work tirelessly in the background to make LM our home from home for those 2 short weeks a year. If i had one gripe this year it would be the quality of the WiFi, even in common areas the signal was patchy at best, in my room it was almost non-existent at times. I know we don't need to be on our phones all day in paradise, but in the world we live in a good internet connection would be a real nice to have. In closing, the reasons we all come back to Puerto Vallarta from far flung parts of North America are endless, but i think more than anything we all come back to see the 'family' that is Lindo Mar! A consistent gem

This was our second visit. Our prior visit was pre-Covid. COVID protocols were excellent this time. Masks were worn by all staff, hand washing was required prior to entering the building, shoe cleansing was required prior to entering, temperatures were checked prior to entering the building, hand sanitzer was available at multiple locations, social distancing was encouraged, and masks are required. The facility arranged for guests to have the Covid tests prior to return to the USA and to Canada. The tests took place at the resort and were eazy- peazy. Payment was made , in pesos, prior to the tests and directly to the lab. We appreciated this courtesy for guests!! Wonderful Customer Service. Daily housekeeping. Concierge Maria Elena is so helpful and kind. Love the units with views to enjoy. Well stocked units with a filtered water container. There is air conditioning and tv, but we used neither. Excellent housekeeping. Units are spacious and there are elevators in addition to stairs. Cabs are available at the entrance.. Pool and jacuzzi on site plus the bar and restaurant are on site. The facility sits on a small beach and the ocean. Spectacular!!! Just an over all terrific place to stay with great customer service , nice units, and amazing views!!! This was our second visit. Waterfront / Free Parking / Close to Downtown but away from the Madness

I posted this review for Lindo Mar, but somehow it got saved under "Playa Conchos Chinas". The review IS for LINDO MAR. The staff were friendly and attentive. I had read reviews stating otherwise, but that was not my experience. Was it because we were friendly and interacted with them, and tipped our bellman, server, bartender, room service/cleaning staff? Maybe, but everyone should do that! Old timeshare means large rooms and great proximity to the ocean. Feb2021 : Pool/hot tub/gym closed due to COVID restrictions, but cleanliness, health a priority to all of the staff. Easy, free parking. 2 x elevators worked well, as did the internet. 2 x happy hours a day. Some rooms renovated, others not.
