Lovely resort

Everything was great except for having no view at all of the beach. There were many things for a young family to do, and use, we don't ever do any of those things, as my handicapped daughter cannot. We expected to have a view of the ocean, as all rooms face the ocean. Everything was great except for having no view at all of the beach. Beautiful Ocean View

A very nice resort right on the Atlantic. Very friendly staff and very clean resort. Very close to many resrerants, shopping and groceries. We were able to watch a launch on the beach and watch cruise ships in and out of Port Canveral. Also nice bar and restaurant on property. A very nice resort right on the Atlantic. Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The facility was very well maintained. Loved our 2 bedroom condo - great beach views! So comfortable and nice for our family of 4 (including teens!!) to have space to spread out and get some personal time alone! We really enjoyed our stay. The facility was very well maintained. Charming condo with perfect view.

We spent the last week in August at Discovery Beach Resort on Cocoa Beach. It did rain occasionally, but not enough to ruin days at the beach, just enough to cancel the rocket launch we hoped to catch on our last night. With kids back in school we had the beach and resort mostly to ourselves. We were reluctant to fly down. Airlines are iffy and we thought we might need car to get around. We were glad we did that, but may not next time. The best shrimp out of four places we ate was at the pier, about a block from the resort. A trolley stops a block and a half away and takes people up and down the main strip. You can buy a pass for the week. I assume you could call uber if needed.. We bought grocery items for our morning meals and some evening. We ate out the rest of the time. The restaurant at Discovery was closed Monday and Tuesday, as were several others in the area--Covid related we were told. Beach towels are provided. Camp chairs and umbrellas can be rented on site for $5 each, or for $5 more you can rent same but lounge chairs instead, on the beach and don't have to haul them down there. Near pier. Walking distance to Publix , restaurants, donuts, beach. Driving ten minutes to The Cove. Near cruise ships. Can visibly see Cape Canaveral. Had the best mango margarita at the Tiki Bar and Cafe attached to the resort. Including live music some days at bar ,other days poolside. Very nice clean pool and hot tub. Near pier.
