Lots of dos and dont’s

Staff ungracious, they will charge for anything that doesn’t line up with their to do or don’t list. No signage for check out time. Limited staff availability. Living room fairly dark. Lake Arrowhead Chalets

While in a very nice location, this resort and its furnishings is very outdated. The furniture and carpets need to be updated and the exterior needs maintenance and upkeep. In addition, the two bedroom unit is not suitable for 4 adults -- there is only one full bathroom. One of the biggest issues, however, is that there is absolutely NO lake access without the magic keycard which is not available with the resort. Rustic, nature, lake, clean, friendly staff

Large 2 bedrooms. King size. Excellent mattress. Well equipped kitchen with brand name utensils. Large private balcony. Peaceful. Cant say one bad thing about this location. For those who dont like it they may as well stay in Manhattan NY. :). My best vacation (RCI member for decades). Enjoy it. Large 2 bedrooms. King size. Excellent mattress. 2021 family trip

This property is located about 5min drive to Lake Arrowhead little town center. Unfortunately we could not access the lake, we had to drive to Lake Gregory in Crestline about a 20 min drive. Family had a great time at Lake Gregory 2 day during our stay. Next time we will stay at Crestline close to Lake Gregory. Pleasantly Surprised!

I had a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath unit with 2 balconies. There's a full kitchen with all the necessities (no cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, and oil), washer/dryer and living room on the first floor. Second floor has a full bath and 2 bedrooms (1 king and 2 twins). Balcony off of the master bedroom and another off of the living room with propane grill and picnic table setup. I had a designated garage for parking. Garage was part of another unit and shared which was probably the only thing that was a little strange. Not really an issue though. Roughly a 2min drive to the village where you have restaurants, shopping, and Stater Bros. About 15mins to Santa's Village and Heaps Aboretum, and maybe 30mins to the north shore and Pinnacles. Working wood burning fireplace in the living room was great. Netflix on the TV for the kids, and wifi for all! Highly recommend for a quiet family trip and some great hiking. Will be back again.
