The 80's called and want their unit, including the carpet, back...

We came to this resort to get away as part of our travel club plan which is how we booked this vacation. We arrived around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and it is very dark, hard to find but we did. Once we opened the front door to the unit we immediately noticed a horrible mold type smell. We decided to see if we could stick it out and bought $60 in air fresheners and Lysol from the local Walmart. We used Lysol on everything and hoped that it would help. It did not and the next day seemed even worse. The second night we used Vicks Vapor rub under our nose so we could sleep. We left after the second day of a seven day vacation as we could not take it anymore. Our eyes watered, we coughed and had headaches the entire time we were in the unit. I think the major issue is the unbelievable old, worn furniture and carpet throughout, including the bathroom. The carpet near the toilet in the master bath was so bad we could not use the bathroom, we had to use the smaller bathroom near the second bedroom. Cobwebs everywhere, furniture had tears, blinds were missing parts, need I say more? We did call to let our travel club know and the resort know. They were apologetic and offered another unit which we declined. There is no way that they have not had complaints about this unit before or housekeeping had not noticed the stench. They should not even be renting this unit, especially when there were several vacancies. Why would we trust another unit? Bottom line, I would never stay here again and we have notified our travel club of the same circumstances. It is run down, filthy, and a health hazard - in my opinion. Quiet resort in December

Lean and well furnished units. Connecting units with no stairs to climb. Bedroom was fine and slept well. Bathroom had a large tub and shower. Resort was not busy. Only a dozen cars noticed the entire week. Finding the resort does take. Bit of research. GPS takes you to the wrong entrance so you must be aware. More signs could help in locating the resort. Not yet back to normal

We are owners at this resort and have been there many times. While the main clubhouse is closed to everyone, amenities are limited. However, the staff was responsive whenever we had a question or needed any kind of maintenance on our unit. The Phase I unit where we stayed was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Have stayed numerous times....consistently nice, perfect location.

We've stayed here three times, in three different units. Each one was super clean and nicely appointed. We love that we're within walking distance of El Jimador and close to all the stores and such at the gate, too. And the rates are really reasonable, too. We always enjoy the walking trail that's right there, too. We've stayed here three times, in three different units. Each one was super clean and nicely appointed. 2nd Time at this resort

Loved the area so much we bought a house in Hot Springs Village . Lot of Lakes , Golfing and Trails in Village. Near State Parks and National Parks.
