Worthwhile visit to Velddrif

What a delightful place to visit. The whole of Vekddrif Laaiplek and Port Owen is a joy to behold. One can spend hours just walking through the little garbour of Velddrif, or visit the famous Bokom lane along the Berg River or vist the beautiful Port Owen marina. What a delightful place to visit. Best spent 5 days

It was The most incredible time, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The place was incredibly comfortable, it was very clean, it wasn’t noisy, it had beautiful views everywhere, everything was close by. It truly is beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed all the activities they offered It was The most incredible time, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Great Stay

Always a great relaxing place for a holiday. The Marine is tranquil, with bird life & always welcoming. The chalet is charming, well equipped and comfortable. The shower above the bath, though, is in needs a new sealer to prevent flooding of the bathroom floor, and more permanent damage. The staff were helpful and friendly. Look forward to returning. Lovely tranquil area

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at Port Owen Marine. The chalets are really well designed, and well equipped. Being on the water is a treat, and usually you can hire boats, canoes and sups. Velddrift is a delightful coastal village, nice and laid back, and quaint. Bokkomslaan is worth a visit. We enjoyed a wonderful few days at Port Owen Marine. Tranquility - Port Owen

Very disappointed! Showers not working properly! Beds very uncomfortable, mattresses very old, linen out dated! Lack of crockery and kitchen utensils! Property not well maintained! Owner's not interested in client service or customer care at all! Will never go back or recommend this property to anyone! At R28000 for a week we could've stayed in real luxury! Very disappointed!
