Quaint Cabin in the Smokies

The resort was lovely and the staff wonderful. The 2BR cabin was quite spacious; however definitely needed updating. The cabin had a musty/pet smell and multiple large dark stains on the carpets in the bedrooms. Sadly I had to leave after 2nd of 6 nights due to allergies. nice older place. felt like i was at that resort in the shining movie.

Retired Citizens of the Smokies Celebrated 50th Year

I worked with both the Convention/Wedding Coordinator and the Food and Beverage Director to get our function off the ground. Both were very responsive, getting back to me quicker than I anticipated. Everyone, including all the staff at the Lodge and wait staff at the restaurant were personable, helpful, efficient, and flexible. They accommodated our needs very well. We couldn't have been more pleased. The food was always delicious, the rooms were clean and well kept up. We are planning another event for next year with them. family reunion

3rd time in this beautiful nature area to visit my in-laws. We stayed in a cabin. They are all a little different. I didn't know they were having staffing problems as is everywhere so the restaurant at the lodge was closed this time. We had to go buy more groceries is all at the nearest town with groceries. The employees were very kind and friendly. We like all the hiking in the area. 3rd time in this beautiful nature area to visit my in-laws. We stayed in a cabin. They are all a little different. Best Kept Secret Resort

The staff could not have been any nicer. The rooms were clean and no issues. The restaurant has great food, and very motorcycle friendly. If you ride the bonus is you get to ride the Hellbender to and from the dragon it’s one of my favorite roads and the view of the lake at dawn and dusk is breathtaking! Be safe!
