Lovely little resort in great location

Lovely good sized unit in a great location near to Ambleside but away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Plenty of walks to be done from the door with good transport connectivity with local busses and the boat terminal. The bedrooms were a little on the small side but had a reasonable amount of storage and it would be a bit tight if more than four were staying. The unit was very well equipped with all essentials provided and the resort staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be coming back given the opportunity! Great location

Upto the minute safety locks on external doors to allow emergency egress. Good barbQ facility. maintenance staff very responsive to requests. Excellent resort, friendly staff, great location

This was our third stay at The Quaysiders Resort. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The apartments are of a high standard and very well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the Lakes and there are excellent services and facilities on the doorstep in Ambleside. This was our third stay at The Quaysiders Resort. Perfect Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Quaysiders Club and we have been many times before and the resort has always been perfect in every way. The systems put in place for covid 19 were brilliant and we felt totally safe. The staff are brilliant and we have got to know them over the years. Local service at its best.

We booked a seven night stay and luckily were blessed with lovely sunny weather and dry days, This enabled us to experience The Lake District at its best using the superb local bus service that served the main towns and villages. Our ground floor apartment had everything we needed. It was quiet, warm, well equipped with a modern TV that had Sky and Freeview connections, free Wi-fi, a nice radio and everything you would expect in the kitchen including an under worksurface refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher plus cutlery and crockery for six settings. The bed was very comfy and I enjoyed a good nights sleep during the stay. The location is about 600m from Ambleside which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Management are more than helpful, delivering daily newspapers and milk by request on a daily basis. We felt so relaxed and knew that a repeat visit would be on the agenda for next year so we purchased a timeshare week - we felt so relaxed and had a memorable holiday.
