океан рядом с тобой!

Наша поездка по Португалии заканчивалась отдыхом на океане. Для тех, кто любит покой и природу, отель Дом Педру -замечательный вариант. Апартаменты , включающие гостиную и спальню, имеют мини-кухню и! -террасу(для балкона велика) с видом на океан. Хорошее обслуживание, небольшой бассейн и ресторан тоже в наличии. Мы готовили в основном сами, благо в супермаркете для туристов все предусмотрено. Из замечаний-на кухне можно было бы держать соль, масло, моющее средство для гостей.Да и wi-fi должен быть в номере, а не в лобби.Отель бы не обеднел.Вариант хорош для тех, кто на машине. Лагуш в стороне, 4-х километровый пляж свободен. Вечером гуляля вдоль океана с палками-наслаждение! Наша поездка по Португалии заканчивалась отдыхом на океане. Соотношение цена-качество

Неплохой вариант для апартаментов, если вы на машине и постоянно в разъездах. Из плюсов: - замечательное месторасположение. Бесконечный и очень чистый пляж через дорогу (для малышей и пожилых лучший вариант), школа виндсерфинга рядом, близко центр города - наличие бесплатной парковки - прекрасный вид на океан - кухня - чистый бассейн (взрослая и детская зоны) - детская площадка (не в лучшем состоянии, но моему четырехлетке хватило) - большой балкон со столом и стульями. Обед и ужин с видом на океан - это прекрасно - есть вся нужная посуда (столовая и кастрюли со сковородкой) Минусы: - староватый отель, пятна на старой скрипящей мебели - завтрак отсутствует как класс (хлопья с молоком, бутер с колбасой и сыром и кофе... Да. Даже не континентальный) - шампунь и мыло нужно просто вымаливать у горничных. Экономят жутко. При заезде на троих стоял один шампунь и одно мини-мыло. - постельное меняют редко. Нам "повезло" увидеть смену белья один раз - в отельном ресторане были в день заезда. Отличные апартаменты и отсутствие соотечественников! Супер вариант!!!

Нашла отзывы на апартаменты на немецком сайте. Огромный плюс - отсутствие русских туристов! Видимо начитавшись отзывов на форуме Винского, они выбирают отели в районе Praia de Dona Аnа и топают до него пешком. Мы отдали предпочтение отелю на Мeia Prаia, растянувшемуся на 10 км!!! От нашего отеля до городка и до Praia de Dona Аnа ходил трамвайчик, поэтому проблем добраться не возникало! Сами апартаменты Вас не разочаруют. В них было абсолютно все, начиная от салфеток и скатерти и заканчивая штопором для вина. Нареканий на чистоту и размеры апартов у нас нет! Отличная зеленая территория, чистый бассейн, вежливый персонал, наличие wi-fi в холле отеля - все просто супер! Океан находится через дорогу от отеля (движение по дороге - не активно). До супермаркета идти пешком ок 20 мин. в одну сторону, до центральной набережной ок 30 мин. В отеле вечером открывается ресторан, с левой стороны от отеля также есть 2 ресторанчика, через дорогу у океана тоже есть ресторан. Напишу честно, мы в них не ходили, тк продукты изумительного качества стоят смешных денег и готовить было одно удовольствие! В апартаменты обязательно вернемся и рекомендуем его друзьям! p.s. если не знаете английского, португальского, немецкого или французского - Вам в нем делать нечего!!! Отличный отель!

Отличное расположение отеля, выходишь прямо к океаку! и наш балкон выходил тоже на океан. Так что завтрак, обед, ужин были с видом на океан, что просто прекрасно. И кухня небольная, но все есть и удобно. У нас была машина и мы все покупали в супермаркете, а у гостиницы прямо есть автобусная остановка Отличное расположение отеля, выходишь прямо к океаку! и наш балкон выходил тоже на океан. Так что завтрак, обед, ужин были с видом на океан, что просто прекрасно. И кухня небольная, но все есть и удобно. У нас была машина и мы все покупали в супермаркете, а у гостиницы прямо есть автобусная остановка

Нам понравилось! Хорошее соотношение цена-качество

Главный плюс этого отеля - расположение, рядом с лучшим пляжем Лагуша. Длиннющий пляж (мы шли часа полтора в одну сторону)! Наш номер (как и большая часть номеров в этом отеле) выходил на океан. Чудесно завтракать и обедать с видом на океан!!! Второй плюс - в номере удобно и просторно, есть лоджия. Третий плюс - есть маленькая кухня. Мы покупали еду в супермаркете и все готовили сами и наслаждались видлм на океан во время еды. К минусам могу отнести, например, то, что вай-фай только в холле отеля, в номере нет. Beachfront hotel

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It’s perfectly well equipped, if a little tired in places. The rooms are large and the public areas including pool and garden were not crowded. The location is on Meia Praia beach which is the most fabulous stretch of sand with lifeguard attended swimming areas. We had a one bedroom apartment which was huge, the furnishings were a bit old fashioned, but very clean. The terrace overlooked the pool and the fabulous view of the beach. It’s definitely worth upgrading for a sea view room. The walk into Lagos is c. 30 mins The location is the best thing about this hotel. It’s perfectly well equipped, if a little tired in places. Perfect location with beach view

The hotel location is perfect, right in front of Meia Praia beach. You have an open wide view from the rooms to the beach, it's a stunning view. You can reach beach by some minutes walking, just need to cross the street. Parking is easy, and if the hotel has not enough places, there is a huge parkng area in the other side of the street, in the way to the beach. Staff is very relaxed and easy talking. Hotel with huge noise

Why do they schedule to cut the grass at 8 in the morning in a holiday hotel? Imagine how mad I woke up with the huge noise. 100% not aceptable! The hotel said that they only have this time or the guest from the pool will complain. So the others have preference than Myself? Worst experience ever in Algarve

This hotel doesn't have enough places to park the car. The room is so small that you can't put one luggage next to the bed. We couldn't have a baby stroller next to us, so we went to ask for another room: they didn't had, but charge always the room, even if we didn't stay there! The manager was absent and no possible way to talk with. We didn't stay and lost 140 euros! Was a robbery. Keep this advise: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Great location, not too exciting

Our company of 3 spent 8 nights here. The hotel... It’s a nice hotel but the photos are showing it to be better looking than it is in reality. There was a few disappointing aspects of the place but nothing we couldn’t live with as we spent almost no time in the hotel and the room other than sleeping. To be honest, we’re past that point in our travels where we would bother much, or make a fuss about the lack of maintenance, we’re more about functionality so hope my review will be fair and objective rather than complaining. We arrived quite late, after midnight. The reception is one floor down from the entrance so don’t bother taking your luggages with you when go to check in. Only one of the two small lifts was working so it took some logistics to get there for 3 persons and 2 large suitcases. The 2 suitcases pretty much filled the lift so only one of us squeezed in, the rest took the stairs. The check in was quick and welcoming, the reception staff were very nice. Then we needed to go 2 floors up with the same logistics. The parking lot hasn’t got enough spaces to accommodate all cars so if you’re late, you might have to be cheeky and fit it in to dead spaces by the wall or park in the neighbouring car parks around the corner. There are boxes painted in the middle row which would be more useful if the drivers parked closer to each other as there were huge gaps between small cars that would’ve made up enough room for 2-3 more cars. Our room was looking onto the side garden which was tidy lawn and the neighbouring apartments so I can’t comment on sea view. The apartment was not massive but fairly enough for what we wanted. It was made up of a good size balcony, almost the same size as the living room, a bedroom just the size of house a twin bed. There is an open counter-type wall separates the 2 rooms and there are no closable doors so consider this if you want some privacy. In the living room there was a sofa with a foldable king size bed which was a nice surprise. It was very comfy, good in size and folded up neatly concealed in the furniture, taking up virtually no space when not needed. Big thumbs up for this! The bathroom was rather spartan. It was functional but full of annoying things. The shower head holder is put so high that a shorter person like my wife struggles to reach to take it off. The shower cubicle has a glass panel fitted on one side that covers about the third of the shower and the rest is open. You can’t help it but to flood the whole bathroom even if you’re careful and squeeze yourself in the corner of the cubicle. At least a shower curtain would be useful to prevent this at low cost, even if it isn’t the most elegant solution. There was nothing in the shower to put our soaps and shampoos on, again a cheap corner rack would have been nice. The maintenance of the bathroom wasn’t the best I’ve seen, the tiles were at least 2 different shades, the grout was mouldy at places. The mastic around the shower and the mirror looked like something my granny attempted to fix, definitely not a tradesman. The plumbing is very noisy! In our apartment as well as next door. When you run the water it’s noisy. To take it positively, I didn’t have to set the alarm as the neighbours started washing 8am sharp! xD There is also no extractor fan, nor openable window in the bathroom which leads to some discomfort in the mornings. One of the bedside sockets were off the wall. The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, kettle, microwave, however, inside the latter there was some remains of some previous guest’s exploded food that I wiped out with some antibacterial wipes before heating my pizza. The rest seemed good but considering COVID-19 they need to be more thorough on this. The room was clean overall, but later I discovered a ball of hair in the corner of the balcony where it seemed like they might have used to discharge the mopping water down a small rain channel. There is a pool in a nice lawned garden where we spent some time the first day. There was no free sunloungers so we dared to set up our residence on the lawn as we realised some of the loungers were left with towels on but no one returned to them the whole time. I wonder when people are going to stop this behaviour. Soon some others left so we managed to get some loungers for ourselves. It wasn’t busy at all. There is a restaurant on site which, as we were informed, under the management of another company, not the hotel itself. We didn’t try it as found a bit pricey and it was pretty dead every time we checked anyway. There wasn’t much else worth mentioning, though, in fairness, we didn’t really spent much time discovering as were out most of the time. The location... The hotel is right on the seafront which, no doubt the greatest advantage of it. Only 5 minutes walk crossing the road and a small railway and there you are on the beautiful Meia Praia with miles and miles of white sandy beach. There was no crowd at all, we could easily find a good spot to settle. I don’t know how would it have been if there wasn’t COVID-19 affecting tourism this year. It’s a 30 minutes walk or a 5-10 minutes drive to Lagos so very convenient distance. All in all, if you’re not fussy about the state of the room, if you’re not after spending your holiday in you room but rather go out and discover beautiful Algarve, it’s a reasonable place to stay, however, for the price we are probably going to try somewhere else next year.
