Relaxing Time.

Overall great location and activities in the area. Unit was steps from the river and good views. Driving is tricky and the yellow dividing lines on the roads were very faded. Dishware and utensils were sparse. There was not one sharp knife in the kitchen. No laundry packets or salt and pepper. TV's in the bedrooms would have been appreciated. There was no dresser in the master and we had to live out of our suitcases on the floor, this was a real pain. Overall great location and activities in the area. Propery Owners

As long as you are only visiting, this resort area is ok. As land owners, I would definitely warn that the Board is very difficult to deal with, somewhat like an HOA on steroids. Many of the properties are adandoned, delapidated and run down that have been there for years, However, if your property is new they will continually collect fines and fees for anything and everything and give you a hard time, as well. Very socialistic with all (mostly new) owners pitching in for their very limited services to benefit all others!! As long as you are only visiting, this resort area is ok. Family Vacation

The area around the resort is very rural (no surprises based upon the location), However, you will find all the normal features of any small urban community (Big box stores, restaurants, and so on). BBQ seems to be King in the area and you will enjoy a visit to any of these. The unit we had was at the Water Tower Villas. Gate access by scanning your unit card - never worked - always had to contact security to get in. Road access to the unit was always stressful as the roads up are narrow and there are very deep ditches and steep banks on both side of the road. Extreme attention and caution was required. Unit was not very clean, appliances, and most everything in the unit was very outdated. Not what we expected at all given most all of our experiences with other properties we have stayed in over the past 20 years. Sadly not what I expected

We stayed in Water Tower Villas in CRR which are located up a long rollercoaster mountain rd. Front view was of lg paved parking lot, rear view of villa roof tops, road & far-away mountains. Not a tranquil mountain get-away cabin or scenery as shown on website. At check-in we were advised we'd have to leave resort & go in different entrance to use amenities (at least 15 min drive). Units next to us were private residences. No internet available. Rooms & kitchen were fine. Thankfully we discovered GA has good wineries so we used our time exploring those & not the CRR. Coosawattee River Resort

The 3 bedroom house was great. Deer were always in the yard. We did fish on property but didn't catch anything. We never saw the river. Be prepared to spend some time checking out the neighborhood. We could've spent one entire day just running around the neighborhood. I am glad I had my GPS. I got lost a couple times. The 3 bedroom house was great. Deer were always in the yard.
