Pleasant stay

Facilities were very clean and daily sanitized. Staff was very helpful, connected us with a great cabby. The internet however was TERRIBLE!!!, even inside the room. Our favorite at Maho Bay - La Plage.

Our 5th time staying at La Plage right on Maho beach and never a disappointment. The staff are friendly and do a great job maintaining the property and keeping it clean and safe. Walk to Maho Village restaurants and past the golf course to Mullet Bay Beach. Tortuga restaurant on site is very good as well that overlooks the beach and sunsets. Superlative Stay !!

This property is most likely the finest run resort in the Caribbean. The credit must go to the elegant, charming manager Nina Persaud. She inspires her staff to do their finest and they never disappoint from Housekeeping, Security, Food and Beverage, and especially the proficiency of the Reception. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and caring spirit of Kalisha, who we saw most often, and her professionalism. She is a true asset to the entire resort. Donette, also at the Reception, could not be lovelier. She defines exceptional . The staff is completed with the wonderful Kitany- a true ( and very well dressed) gentleman who is always helpful. The pool and beach areas are perfectly maintained. Housekeeping checks to make certain all one’s needs are met by their superb staff. The Tortuga restaurant is recommended along with their bar drinks. Tom is an amazing mixologist. Security is friendly and very watchful. All in all, this was a superlative stay! Royal Islander la Plage - Tortuga Restaurant

My family and I have dine here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waitress Kim and Lilly were excellent, friendly, and informative. Provided us great advice on the island, where to go, where not to go and places to visit. The food at this restaurant was very good. If you come to dine at Tortuga Restaurant at the Royal Islander please ask for Kim and Lilly. Excellent service. My family and I have dine here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. this place is so nice and relaxing, you sit in the pool and watch as the commercial air lines come in as you float on your noodle, this time of year when i go there are older couples that are there so it is nice and quiet , this last trip met some seasoned veterans that have been there for may years and they gave me a lot of in and outs of the area. can't wait until next October to return again this place is so nice and relaxing, you sit in the pool and watch as the commercial air lines come in as you float on your noodle, this time of year when i go there are older couples that are there so it is nice and quiet , this last trip met some seasoned veterans that have been there for may years and they gave me a lot of in and outs of the area. can't wait until next October to return again
