Average at Best

Slowly doing some Reno’s to the rooms. Still however have some old furniture and appliances. We stayed in a one bedroom which was very spacious and poolside with a small view of the ocean between two buildings. They have heated the pool but at times seems to warm to cool off in after a day in the sun. Breakfast included in the room. Best way is to do all inclusive so you can use the main hotel Canto del Sol across the street. Lots of shop and small restaurants with in walking distance or take the 10 minute bus ride downtown. If your expecting the ritz stay elsewhere. Slowly doing some Reno’s to the rooms. Still however have some old furniture and appliances. Excellent except dinners

The service at dinners are slow and menu repetitive, so get room service which is much better or splurge and take an Uber to town where there are plentiful inexpensive wonderful restaurants. Also, I requested they add V to the buffet signs so it’s easier for us vegetarians. Also,that room service better menu is available around the pools anytime! Great Place!

This has been our go-to place for 15 years. The best of both worlds. The Villas is laid back with a quiet pool for relaxing but if you feel like more action, you have full access to the Canto Del Sol next door (check your package). The staff are terrific from housekeeping to the waiter at the bar by the pool. Studio suites open on the pool for early morning dips. Great location, short bus ride downtown. It may be 3 star but the rooms are clean and comfortable and they treat you right. This has been our go-to place for 15 years. The best of both worlds. Great stay!

We stayed at the Villas for one week arriving on Christmas Day. I had requested a room facing the pool (studio) and we were given room #517 closest to the pool and the breakfast restaurant! We loved our room’s location, the bathroom was decent, and it was very large. Only negative was that occasionally there was a sewer-like smell in the room (that didn’t seem to be coming from the bathroom) and the bed being on wheels got somewhat annoying. This hotel is very clean and housekeeping does a very good job. We were not all-inclusive so just ate breakfast at the hotel-not a lot of variety but definitely adequate. Service at the pool bar was excellent-Carlos was our favourite waiter but Christian and Jonathon were also very good! We had no problems checking in or out, Ivan the bellman was very helpful when we needed to store our suitcase. We definitely will be returning soon! Terrible locaton

This place has a terrible location. Far from anything to eat or the town area It’s for families for sure! Loud noice of construction by the pool and lots of children with TERRIBLE music! Lol Rooms are search with no frills. This is an old timeshare spot. For the money you can stay in a good locatin This place has a terrible location.
