Отель основательный, добротный, немного " старомодный", но мне очень понравился. Тихое красивое место, недалеко от трассы. В номерах тихо, тепло (мы были в июле, но шел дождь и было прохладно). Замечательный персонал, интересное оформление коридоров, кухни ( попадаешь во времена Франца-Иосифа).Недалеко одноименное озеро, маленькое, но очень интересное (расположение и цвет воды).Рядом много горных троп для любителей скандинавской ходьбы, да и просто прогулок. Great Help from the Hotel

Because of booking problemes we had no accommodation, and locals sent us to the grand hotel carezza. gandomenico was a very friendly und helpful staff member, he organized a very nice room for us. we enjoyed the stay in grand hotel carezza, it saved our trip to the dolomites.thany you gandomenico and grand hotel carezza for the outstanding service. Mountain resort in a very scenic location

We took a bus from Bolzano and it stopped right in front of the hotel. When we first stepped into the hotel, we had a shock as it is like those huge mansion we see in the old movies...not the usual modern hotel we were used to. It is a very Grand old hotel. Once we got over the shock and accepted the differences, we had a wonderful holiday here. There are lots of walking/hiking trails with spectacular scenery. We walked to beautiful lake Karersee, Frommeralm for lunch and view, Latemar labyrinth. WIFI is only available in the hotel lounge with plenty of couches, table and chairs there for our use. The manager Giandomenico was very friendly and helpful. He was always cheerful, gave us tips on where to dine, loan us an umbrella when it rained. We will surely return. Relive WW2

Entering the hotel grounds you get the feel of living in a WW2 movie. Inside, the lobby is huge and old fashioned. Corridors leading to the apts are long wide and dark and give you the feeling of a German occupied era military hospital. In fact that's what it was during the war. We were lucky we had a rental car as the hotel has no Bar or restaurant. Wifi only available in the common areas. Our apt was in need of a huge refurbishment with patched up wallpaper, kitchenet was small and had no oven or microwave or even a kettle. Bathroom bathtub full of stains and rust. Going down to the minimarket you go through a cold dark and humid corridor. I will give a plus to the staff especially to Giandomenico as he was very helpful and so nice with us. Never again

What a horrible experience we had. Restaurant closed,bar, closed, pool has been closed for over a year. Bed was a horrible Murphy bed- we stayed one night and left as quickly as we could. Depressing damp smelling areas, part of hotel shutters closed, the mountains around are being stripped of all their pine trees. The only positive thing to say is the ski left was operating and the views and hiking were pleasant. What a horrible experience we had. No heat, no hot water, no electric

Our room was 46 degrees so the hotel gave us a couple of electric heaters, however, they caused the circuits to overhead and shut off. My wife had to go down the hallway with her cell phone light to switch the circuits back on. We slept with 2 quilts and 2 horse blankets. Little or no hot water. No stove, no microwave, just a glass top that ran on electricity. The only saving grace was the staff were trying hard. We left after a day and a half.
