Great location

This was our second stay at Sea Mist Resort, the first one about 10 years ago. We had a 1 Bedroom unit that was very nice and a dull kitchen that was also nice. Everything was in working order and unit, while not modern was again, very nice. Check-in was easy but the young lady who did check us in was very business-like, and just not very friendly. The location of Sea Mist, for us, was great. You are about 15 minutes from Falmouth and about the same to Hyannis and where most of the main shopping is on Rt 132. Since we had gorgeous weather, we walked on the beaches, ate some great seafood, and did a lot of our holiday shopping. We love The Cape this time of year. Because of the virus era, we did not use any of the resort's facilities, like the pool, spa so I cannot comment on them. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful resort to stay at

Resort employees were very friendly and gave great options for food and things to do. This resort has so many extras for you or family to do while you are there. Very close to grocery store and shopping. Resort employees were very friendly and gave great options for food and things to do. Could be an "Excellent" rated resort if they would replace mattresses

Stayed here as a couple in October in a two bedroom/ two bathroom unit. The good: very clean well maintained resort. Kitchen was very clean and had plenty of basic dishes. It did lack bake wear (no cookie sheet or cake pans). All the cleaning supplies were under the sink and even had an extra roll of paper towels. Bathrooms only had very basic bar soaps (no shampoo/ conditioner). But they were stocked with many towels and had a towel exchange service every day. Our unit had a queen sized couch/ bed, a love seat, and two additional seats in the living room. They were moderately comfortable. Cable TV with many channels to choose from; only one of the bedrooms had a TV in it. Large dinning table with 6 chairs but enough room for 2 additional. Porch had an odor table and 4 chairs that looked over the tennis courts. Outdoor pool was closed but there was an indoor pool and spa. The grounds were up-kept and the landscaping was very tasteful. Strangely parking spaces were not marked other than handicap parking; but there was plenty enough room for all the guests to park. The bad: by far my biggest complaint were the mattresses. They were unacceptably hard. They were only slightly softer than sleeping on the carpet. It was so bad I removed the mattress from the couch bed and placed it on top of the bedroom mattress (this maybe an idea for some). When quality sleep is a vital component to a vacation, this should be remedied ASAP for future guests. My other complaint is there not being a clothes washer and dryer in the unit. This inconvenience in compounded by the fact the community laundry room is not close to the unit and priced very high (starts at $5 to wash and dry 1 load). One other downside to some may be that the resort is not really located very close to any attractions. Check the map location if this is important to you. A Great time in Cape Cod

Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a lid for the skillet. If you want extra blankets you have to contact housekeeping during their daytime hours. It would've been nice if the front desk could have held them for us for pick up when we returned from our daily excursions. The area is great. Very close to grocery shopping and nice restaurants in Mashpee Commons. Both Bleu and Soprano's had great food and service. Only a half hour drive to the Martha's Vineyard ferry parking lot. Lots of wildlife conservation areas for hiking and birding. We watched the sunset at Old Salt Beach in Falmouth which was a short drive away. The roads are mostly 2 lanes, pretty narrow, and very dark at night. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a lid for the skillet. Setting

The setting of having trees outside your window, the pool, the tennis courts, mini golf, etc gives a sense of relaxation we haven't felt at other resorts. The staff is friendly and helpful adding to the overall welcoming sensation. Experienced an issue with hot water that was resolved quickly which showed even further that your comfort is their priority.
