Чудесный отель с панорамным видом на бухту и морской порт. Уютный и тихий. Вежливый персонал. Хороший seafood ресторан с живой музыкой,столик нужно заказывать заблаговременно. Вкусные завтраки готовят у бассейна. Для пешей прогулки требуется физическая подготовка, т к отель расположен на горе. Чудесный отель с панорамным видом на бухту и морской порт. Уютный и тихий. Была в этом отеле в 2014 зимой (начало января). В целом все неплохо, если не считать, что Виргинские острова - курорт и остров, поэтому исходя из специфики пляжного отдыха ставлю оценки. 1. Территория - ее фактически нет. Но вид сверху с ресторана, а также из моего окна был фантастическим, вид на центр города. Есть несколько корпусов + парковка, если берете машину. Желательно взять в прокат, что я и сделала. Очень удобно. 2. Персонал приветливый. Готов со всем помочь, но если вам что-то надо, обязательно напомните им неск.раз... 3. Отель находится на горке, поэтому если решитесь пешком пройтись, то на обратном пути у вас будет бесплатный фитнесс. 4. Питание. В моем бронировании у меня не было (кажется его там не предусмотрено, могу ошибаться), но на территории отеля было 2 ресторана. Скажем так, ничего удивительного, но с учетом шикарного вида вечером, можно отужинать пару раз. 5. Транспорт. До центра. Т.к. я брала машину в прокат, то передвигалась в основном на машине, это буквально 5-6 мин (с учетом светофоров и поиска парковки). У меня не было проблем с заездом вверх по дороге, машина была с АКПП. До аэропорта 10-15 минут. От аэропорта до отеля и обратно ходят такси, маршрутное такси. Маршрутка (нормальная, не как у нас) стоит 4 доллара. Как правило, маршрутка едет по отелям, развозит туристов. При выходе из аэропорта можно увидеть список отелей и остановок. Очевидно, что на такси дороже (нет смысла брать, если это не раннее утро или ночь). Пешком вполне реально дойти как до фуникулера, так и до центра. Идти не долго. Я так и сделала в последний день. 6. Номер у меня был чистый, угловой на 2 этаже с неплохим видом в основном корпусе (где пушка, памятник). Убирают номер не каждый день. Все, что положено иметь 3* есть. Кондиционер работал исправно, т.к. влажность в январе ощутимая. Минусы: 1. Рядом аптек, магазинов нет (нужно выезжать ближе к центру) 2. Отель только на одну ночь

Отель стоит на хорошем месте, из окон виднеются заходящие круизные лайнеры, и, к сожалению, больше плюсов нет. Начнем с того, что если вы остаетесь больше чем на день, убираться в вашем номере никто не будет. Нужно куда-то там звонить, чтобы вам под дверь кинули хотя бы сменные полотенца. Мусор, естественно, никто не уносил, и я даже не представляю, какой ужас им оставляют люди, живущие долго в этом отеле. В номере стоит одна нормальная кровать, и ужасно неудобный раскладывающийся диван, на котором нормально не поспать! Вай-фай в номере платный, и берет не отовсюду. Мне нужно было распечатать документ, а сделать это можно только с их компьютера. Чтобы зайти в него, нужно опять заплатить за вай-фай, хотя у меня уже был оплаченный для номера. Очень маленькая стоянка у лобби, если не успеваешь до 5 вечера поставить машину, приходиться далеко подыматься по лестнице. высоко сижу,далеко гляжу

Отель расположен очень хорошо- в бухте гавани Шарлотта- Амалии.На очень высоком холме, трудно заезжать, если в горах не опыта. Но весь Сан Томас гористый, поэтому это обычный заезд . Мы жили в Виллас, великолепная панорама на море! Утренний, вечерний,дневной вид завораживающий! Номер хорошо оборудован, есть все.Постельные принадлежности белоснежные удобные. Нам очень понравилось Парковка бесплатная, инет платный. Вокруг много ресторанов Отель расположен очень хорошо- в бухте гавани Шарлотта- Амалии.На очень высоком холме, трудно заезжать, если в горах не опыта. Но весь Сан Томас гористый, поэтому это обычный заезд . Мы жили в Виллас, великолепная панорама на море! Утренний, вечерний,дневной вид завораживающий! Номер хорошо оборудован, есть все.Постельные принадлежности белоснежные удобные. Нам очень понравилось Парковка бесплатная, инет платный. Вокруг много ресторанов

Очень симпатичное место для отдыха семьей. Чисто, просторная комната, встроенная мини кухня. Прекрасный вид из окна на океан. Доступная цена. Приятное обслуживание. The Property and Staff were awesome! The manager...she needs to be FIRED!

We were on this island for two weeks for a family vacation. The first part, we stayed at and property in the hills and the second half, we stayed at Blue Beards. I love Blue Beards (We've stayed here before)! I hate to give the SERVICE portion a bad review because not all of the SERVICE staff deserve that. ONLY ONE WOMAN (who happened to be the manager/supervisor) on duty when we checked in on November 20, 2021 made it her business to be RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, MEAN, AND JUST AN ALL AROUND JERK! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. My entire family is writing to the powers that be about our experiences with said manager/supervisor. We were advised by some staff that "when she has a bad day, she has a bad day for awhile." I don't care about her bad day(s). We all work hard and she was the ONLY negative about our ENTIRE FAMILY VACATION. Especially, being rude to my mother! Everyone else on staff was FABULOUS AND SUPER AWESOME! From the pool deck café (where we spent a lot of time eating and soaking in the scenery) to the bellmen were simply fantastic (and we tipped accordingly). I drank BBCs all day, every day! The rooms are newer and the views are fantastic. We had two connected units (244 and 245) and they were both equipped with kitchenettes. My husband wants me to note that the TV in the room could stand to be a little/lot bigger but as I told me, "we didn't come all this way to watch TV". BlueBeards aint that Bad

The resort should provide a shuttle to the beach and down town because of the resort's location and limited pedestrian walkways.Front desk staff could be more personable.Overall, the resort was nice but the stay could have been enhanced by some activities (such as bingo etc) at no cost to the resort. I was not pleased with the per person energy surcharge. It should be per unit! Solar panels on ALL the roofs and still charging an energy surcharge? Ridiculous! Clean Place, Rude Staff

I stayed here with my family of 4 in early 11/21. The room was clean and the views were nice. That’s where it ends. They will not bring anything to your room or offer turn down service due to COVID. I understand the turn down but how is leaving towels at my closed door risking an exposure to COVID??? And in order to get those towels, it would have been easier to borrow money from the people at the front desk. I explained to them we are a family of 4 in a room with 2 towels. All they kept saying was the towels were under the sink. Of which I rebutted there are 2 towels for 4 people. They did not want to give me a set for 2 more people. I must have exhausted her because she relented and sent me to the bell station for the towels. They were very accommodating. And if you have a question they make you walk up what amounts to 6 stories to get to the office to receive anything or towels. It takes them literally 18 minutes to check in one party. I timed it. And you cannot simply ask a question. The dismiss you and send you to the rear of the line. Is this the way staff should behave at a resort??? I don’t want to be coddled. However a little courtesy would be nice to paying customers. Rest assured I will not be back to this ‘resort.’ Based on all the complaints about staff on here, it is clear management is unwilling to correct the issues, or simply inept. Above and Beyond our Expectations

Bluebeards did not disappoint! This was the third week we have stayed at this wonderful resort, the first since the hurricanes and the rebuild. This was the second time we stayed at the Pirates Pension. Everything met our expectations from previous stays and considering the hurricanes from a few years ago, they have made Bluebeards and excellent place to stay. I had read negative reviews of the Bluebeards staff. Well, I am here to tell you, the staff and the service they provided was fantastic. I would like to point out one staff member in particular, Bernalyn Tomeau. She set the tone from our arrival, welcoming us to the resort and getting us checked in quickly. The entire staff was courteous, helpful and always professional. We hope that we will be able to visit St Thomas in the future and if we do, we will stay at Bluebeards without a doubt. We had been introduced to the General Manager while there. My wife had mentioned to him that the convenience store on site did not carry insect repellent and the mosquitos were very bad this year. Within two days, the store had insect repellent on their shelf! May seem like a little thing, but this tells me that they pay very close attention to what their guests say. Again, from the top, down, everyone at Bluebeard's was fantastic! Thank you all! Bluebeards did not disappoint! On there way back

We stayed at Hilltop II in our normal week units. Totally redone since the last hurricane. Pool bar & kitchen is great and looking forward to opening of a new restaurant. All new construction throughout the pool area. There is still ongoing work within the property but everything is kept clean and no apparent related noise. View from this place is priceless.
