unpleasantly unclean

Good - we went post Labor day and the place wasn't too busy, so we got to check in earlier than the official 5p check in time. And the tennis court was fun. Bad - so many things, but top was that the place was inexcusably filthy. The tv remote and tables were grimey. The couches released clouds of dust when we sat down. Worst was the spiders and spiderwebs in almost all corners and popcorn ceilings of all rooms. The first day there were more than a dozen but the other days had at least 3 each day. Other crawling bugs too. We're not arachnophobes or bugphobes but it was way too much. We just can't understand the positive reviews. Wonderful TImeshare Experience

We loved both the staff and the location. The staff was about as nice, friendly and helpful as you could ever hope for. When we needed something they were on it very quickly. We were impressed. Samantha and Mike were the last ones we spoke as we checked out and they were very nice as well. We had a nice conversation with them. Their facilities are wonderful. The indoor pool was super clean and huge! The hot tub (spa) next to the pool was a welcome find. Their tennis court is brand new and we played on it several times. Beautiful court. We had a two bedroom unit and invited our son, his wife and child (5 year old granddaughter) and they loved it too. Our granddaughter loved the playground and pool. On the CAPE

Brewster is a small, older resort, but was very centrally located. Room was a bit dated, however it was clean and all appliances worked well. All units are close to the pool and recreational areas. If you want new and flashy, this place is not for you. You want a nice place to stay near everything with ample space and quiet area, this is your place. Very clean, comfortable, with amenities

I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on the Cape. Rooms were large with plenty of living space. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool was very clean. Nice work out area. Bikes for rent. Subpar Resort

This resort was in a quiet area where we felt safe, but really offered no special amenities or services to their patrons. They had a nice outdoor pool area, playground and tennis courts, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub although we didn't use those. The quality of some of the furnishings in the room were "cheap", although this didn't directly effect our stay. They provide an outdoor seating area off the unit with a table, chairs and charcoal grill which was a nice feature. The floors in the unit were filthy, and upon departure, WE were expected to strip and bag all bedding, as well as soiled towels, which I found to be annoying. They state it's for the safety of the staff, but since they come in and touch all surfaces we touched during our stay, including knobs, faucets, door handles, blinds, etc., so I just felt this was a way for them to save time during cleaning. They provided a sufficient amount of dishes, bedding, dish washing detergent, and general "home" supplies, which was nice. Overall, the value of this property was great considering we went in June just around peak season, the size of the unit and the location, which were all nice.
