Terrible experience due to management

We were a group of 6 boys intending to stay a night to celebrate a bachelor's night for a friend who was staying in another hotel nearby. We booked a room for 6 and were enjoying the experience until the security approached us stating that we were 7 (since the friend came to visit) and that wasn't allowed. We explained that he was not staying the night and would leave. And while we were having dinner, the assistant manager, Della, approached us and was absolutely rude about the situation. She took away the friend who made the booking to bar area and was very cleverly being rude and spiteful while trying to appear to be polite. And that friend was inhibited as we all were enjoying ourselves. When either of us tried to speak to her since the guy that made the booking was under the influence, she completely refused and said she will only speak to him since he made the booking. And all this time, we didn't understand what the issue was as the invited friend did not intend to stay. Seen as the resort was mostly empty and it was quite late, the invited friend decided that he will get his own room at the resort to avoid the fuss so that he may continue to spend time with us. We were willing to pay for the new room at the instant but the assistant manager was adamant that he had to leave as it was policy. She was very inhospitable and completely ruined the good experience we were having as she kept stating their policy and informed the police to evacuate our friend from the premises when he was completely willing to pay for a room in the apparently empty resort, with no consideration of the well being of our friend due to the 'policy'. Upon contacting the manager, another room was given and we paid for it. This could have been done earlier without all the fuss created by the assistant manager, which to reiterate, completely ruined our experience. She was being very ambiguous about the situation and kept leaving after speaking for few minutes, leaving us very confused about the situation. This situation could have completely been avoided if the assistant manager put the paying customers comfort over a policy which was not even broken in the first place. We accept that we requested for another room late in the night, but seeing as we already had a room booked, spent $300 at their restaurant for dinner and the resort being no where near capacity, we didn't think it would be an issue. The food service staff and security were very polite and understanding but the assistant manager's behavior was very rude and insulting. We were treated as if we were trying to smuggle another guy in and accused of lying when nothing of that sort transpired and we were happy to pay for a new room. Overall, a good experience ruined by absolutely terrible management of the situation by the assistant manager. Holiday/Birthday

This resort turned out to be a hidden gem. The location, beautiful beach, cozy apartment helpful staff and a quiet chill town made our stay appealing right till we checked out. The resort itself is so laid back, has a nice chill ambience to it that made having our lil one year old’s birthday party there a beautiful experience. Best part is that it’s only 45mins from the Capital, access is so easy too whether you come by public transport or in your private vehicle. The helpful staff ensured we had everything we needed and made the stay even more relaxing/memorable. Highly recommend this lovely place and will definitely be booking in again with family/friends. Second stay and just as good

We stayed for the second time last month and once again had a fabulous time. Apartments are large, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant provides delicious and for Fiji well priced meals. Staff are fabulous. Love being right on the beach for our daily beach walks Pool is a good size with lots of chairs Pacific Harbour village is less than a 10 minute walk where there is a supermarket, ATM's and a number of good cafes We stayed for the second time last month and once again had a fabulous time. A Nice Stay during the Virus Time

We had booked a week here and had to cancel the remainder of our trip to New Zealand after 1 week in Fiji. The Fiji Palms added 1 day to our stay at a very reasonable price in order to allow us to fit into new flight plans. Lovely, secluded place

This resort is right on a nice, sandy beach. The complex is well landscaped, has a rather warm and beautiful pool. The open-air restaurant has a good menu with a variety of local and international dishes to chose from. It is rather inexpensive. The apartments are spacious, well appointed with everything you need (except enough electric outlets) but could use some updates into the 21th century. There was some construction going on at units 1 and three, but that was not very bothersome. Free wifi was only in the restaurant. In the units you had to pay for it. The buildings are only 2 stories high, which makes them almost disappear in the lush vegetation and landscaping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Trips could be booked from the bar whenever the front-office was closed. The resort lies rather isolated from the 2 big cities, Nadi (about 175 Km) and Suva (about 55 Km). But there are buses and plenty of taxis. There are shops across the main highway. The beach is clean with white sand and long enough for walks along. This resort is right on a nice, sandy beach.
