Место расположения и сам курорт прекрасные. Богатая природа, просторно. Кухня была полная, хорошая. Рестораном не пользовались, готовили сами. СПА процедуры (сауна- нормально, парная - пародия на турецкую баню, не соответствует совсем этому понятию, бассейн очень мелкий, мало удобный, отдыхать после бань не на чем, нет шезлонгов, да и места для них практически нет) на слабую троечку. Ни в одном клубе где мы отдыхали за десять с лишним лет, не было такого чтобы не убирали совсем и платили за свет отдельно, при том, что стоимость за номер с двумя спальнями была не маленькая. Погода была дождливая, прохладно. Открытым бассейном не пользовались. Внешне он выглядел более привлекательным чем крытый бассейн. Место расположения и сам курорт прекрасные. Хороший ресорт

Были с детьми в начале мая. Заказывали отдельные апартаменты с кухней, очень понравилось. Апартаменты были не очень большие, но достаточные для 4 человек. Очень чистые и ухоженные, со вкусом обставленные, хорошая кухня со всем необходимым (посуда, кастрюли, тряпки, полотенца и т д.). В зале был камин, настольные игры для детей. Ухоженная территория, хороший бассейн. Сам отель находится за городом, пешком в город минут 20-25, автобуса нет. Рядом порт, с которого есть паромы на остров Уайт. Сам городок очень приятный,такая себе старая добрая Англия. Ездили оттуда в Винчестер (очень рекомендую!), в Портсмут (дети были в восторге от экскурсии на фрегат Нельсона), на остров Уайт. Birthday Stay

Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. We would like to mention that Kerry on the front desk was exceptional throughout our stay. Our courtyard cottage provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Elmers Court is an excellent location close to Lymington, with many good walks, nice grounds and views. Great location for a winter break

The resort is situated in a great location on the edge of the New Forest. The nearest train station is only a 5 minute walk as is the Isle of Wight ferry. The town of Lymington is also only a 20 minute walk away. The area is delightful with many lovely places to visit. Elmers Court is based around an Old Manor House which is well maintained and offers good facilities. There was a mix up with our apartment upon arrival which the staff quickly resolved and we were allocated an apartment on the first floor of the Manor House which had lovely views of the rear gardens. The apartment was a little dated in places but that's to be expected when staying in a older building. The kitchen was well equipped and offered everything that we needed. The indoor pool could do with being a little warmer but it was a good size with a sauna and steam room off to the side. There is also a well equipped gym which had modern equipment and was well maintained. On the evening that we arrived we were too late to book a table in the restaurant so we decided to order from their takeaway menu. The food came in small takeaway boxes, the food quality was poor, the portions were small and the food was massively overpriced for what it was. This put us off eating in the restaurant so we spent our money elsewhere. Similarly, we only had one round of drinks at the bar due to the prices. We ordered a couple of drinks whilst we waited for the takeaway food. Again, these were massively overpriced which is s shame because we would have liked to have a drink or two in the bar whilst we were there. I don't mind paying a little over the odds but when the prices are extortionate I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Fortunately there's a lovely little pub nearby called the Ferryman which is only a 5-10 minute walk. Overall, I would recommend this resort. The location is lovely, the staff were warm and welcoming and the facilities were good. I would just avoid the bar and restaurant if I stayed there again. Covid Cancellation June 2020 no refund

I booked an international family vacation in Jan 2020 for when my twins graduated from college June 2020. As everyone knows the covid pandemic hit March 2020. Everything was shut down. We planned a trip to London, Lymington and into Paris from the US. The Delta airlines refunded the plane tickets as well as Air France. Hotel Chavenal Paris refunded our stay. Park Plaza Westminster London refunded our stay. The only hotel that didn’t was MacDonald Elmers in Lymington. They refused to refund stating they were open even though England had shut their borders to the US and their businesses were shut down. You could only communicate with this hotel via email. They wouldn’t answer their phones because they were shut down. We booked through Hotels.com and they were absolutely no help and wouldn’t get involved stating it was up to the hotel. Anyway, MacDonald Elmers finally had to cancel because THEY WERE NOT OPEN! A voucher was then issued. It’s been 2 1/2 years and hotels.com has issued an extension until Dec 31, 2022 via email dated 11/12/21 This still pisses me off. This hotel has had $668 of mine and still will not refund even though THEY cancelled. Do not book this hotel. Do not use Hotels.com as they are worthless and they still continue to advertise this hotel and the shady business practice. Poor sleep ruined our stay

Great staff, great location, but unfortunately no chance of a good night sleep. Bed was very uncomfortable and disappointing. House keeping put us a mattress topper on which helped but still not acceptable for the money paid. Sad as this was are only holiday this year. Had we have not travelled over 4 hours to get there we would have gone home. Great staff, great location, but unfortunately no chance of a good night sleep. Relax in the forect

Wellness resort in beautiful Lymington. Wonderful break to to do walks in the forest, then chill out in the wellness area, and maybe do a work out! Apartment looked out over the estuary across to the marina, which is a great way to enjoy the location - so ask for a Solent View location. Wellness resort in beautiful Lymington.
