Off Season

There are certain perks to traveling off season. The towns are less busy for dinner and shopping. The resorts should at least keep simple perks with limited hours. I am referring to the sauna, pools,hot tubs, and possibly 1 of the restaurants. There are certain perks to traveling off season. The towns are less busy for dinner and shopping. Sawtooth Mountains

I highly recommend going to Ketchum, Idaho in the off season. It would be way too busy in the winter and summer. The Sawtooth Mountains are breath taking. The condo is in a complex where other condos are privately owned or rented. It is important to get a unit that faces out. We had unit 2507 on the golf course and looking at a ski lift. The condos are not very well build so you hear the plumbing and people walking upstairs. There are great restaurants in Ketchum - Ketchum Grill and Pioneer Saloon. You can get most places by walking, bicycling or riding the bus that is free. I highly recommend going to Ketchum, Idaho in the off season. It would be way too busy in the winter and summer. Quiet and Convenient

Check-in/out was smooth and friendly. We did have a nice view of the mountains to the south, although it would be blocked by trees later in the year. The unit was very small but adequate for two, with a reasonably well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom was a small loft with curtain partition to the main room, and a Murphy bed in the living area if three or four were using the room. I can't imagine how four people with luggage and sporting equipment would manage in the room - very little storage and the dining arrangement would be tight at best. The building is a bit dated, with a creaking elevator that takes about 15 seconds to make the last 12 inches of descent -- don't worry, you won't be trapped, just be patient. The wifi worked well but its connection to the internet failed one day we were there. It was repaired the following day. Location is okay, as two lines of the free community bus stops right outside, with routes going to base of nearby Dollar Man, Sun Valley Lodge area, downtown Ketchum, and either base of Baldy - plan on 30 minutes to or from Baldy but much more convenient that parking at either, with service every 30 minutes until the wee hours. Clean, comfortable room

This resort is set among other multi-tenant buildings. Our one-bedroom unit was clean and comfortable. Some rooms have a view, but our room had a view of the unit about 20 feet away. The room selection makes me wonder what my "high-level" ownership privileges are worth. Parking underground was nice -- given the cold weather, but instructions about how to enter the garage could have been clearer. Check-in and check-out were easy, but checking in at one location to stay at another is disconcerting to me. The "fine" for failure to return keys and parking permits is unusual. I have never seen a resort that requires the parking pass to be returned. A drop box at the exit to the garage would be nice. This resort is set among other multi-tenant buildings. The apartmetn was very clean and well maintianed

The apartmetn was very clean and well maintianed. The only downside was the lack of operating pool adn hot tub on site (we were told they were under renovation). Otherwise, the unit design and condition were one of the best resot. The sky resort was rigth there too. The apartmetn was very clean and well maintianed.
