Excellent Experience

We stayed for seven days with our three grand children ages 16, 14 and 12. We were very pleased with the facility. The public beach was just a four minute walk away as were restaurants and stores. A other reviews have noted the place was not air conditioned but the sea breezes kept it comfortable. There was plenty of room and the building manager was very helpful. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool. The views were fantastic. A good time was had by all. We stayed for seven days with our three grand children ages 16, 14 and 12. Maui Home Away from Home-- Hololani B603

Hololani B603 was the perfect "home away from home" on Maui and the oceanfront location was amazing! Nearly every morning we woke to that incredible ocean view with whales cavorting in the distance and beautiful rainbows coloring the sky! At night, we drifted off to sleep with the cooling ocean breezes and the sounds of the waves below-- pure bliss! B603 had everything we needed-- clean and comfortable furnishings, plenty of towels, in-unit washer and dryer and a kitchen with everything necessary to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner-- even a blender! We got our groceries at Costco and the convenient Safeway in Lahaina-- there's a full- size fridge and freezer that holds plenty. There's also a small grocery a few minutes walk from the condo, along with Maui Brewing Co., a coffee shop, and other stores. We grilled downstairs by the pool nearly every night. The pool area was never crowded, water was warm and just feet from the ocean with comfortable lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine. You can get into the ocean for a swim just over the seawall, but there are plenty of beautiful beaches just a short drive away. The location is excellent and the unit comes with a parking space. It was great to come home to the condo every afternoon, relax by the pool or on the balcony (imagine whale watching from your balcony!), grill our dinner and enjoy that spectacular view. Hololani B603-Fabulous Condo--Whales and Rainbows!!

Incredible balcony. Views across to Molokai and tons of whales in the channel. We woke up on our first day to a double rainbow and whales jumping in the channel. Dined on the balcony regularly and sat out there reading a lot. The condo was clean and well kept and fully furnished. Immaculate BBQ's. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped. Great to have a washer and dryer. If I had realized how good it was, I would have brought only half the amount of clothes. Great functional layout. Nice to have an assigned parking spot. Convenient elevator and plenty of luggage carts to get your baggage upstairs. Free Wi-Fi. Good screen doors so you could open the front and back and get a nice breeze through. We slept with the balcony doors open and loved falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Locals us told west Maui had a problem with beach erosion and there is no beach but plenty of nearby beaches and snorkeling spots. The pool was clean and well maintained--plenty of lounge chairs available. Being on the 6th floor was a real plus because of the unobstructed views. Check-in and directions were excellent. Nice stay but nothing to write home about A101

We stayed in unit A101. The unit is spacy as we had 4 adults and a teenager and it never felt overcrowded. The patio is amazing and the best part of our stay. The kitchen was fully equiped as we did do cooking and there was a nice supply of condements. They owners (or cleaning crew) needed to work on their organization skills when it came to towels and sheets. When trying to find sheets for the pull out I think they had things in 4 different places and the unit was a little shy on towels. The washer wasn't working correctly at first and when we notified the owners they had maintaince show up quickly! We were able to do laundry the remainder of the time. In the master bedroom some screens were torn and didn't fit the windows so I wasn't comfortable leaving them open which did mean the unit got a little stuffy overnight. There were several fans in the unit but they despretly needed cleaned. It is time for them to upgrade lots of the furniture too. Not comfortable/safe at all. The two biggest drawbacks of our stay is NO BEACH. Reviews we had read before our stay it sounded like they were "repairing" the beach... there is no beach to repair. The other thing is the unit is right by the smoking section. You have to leave the front door open to get air in the unit the cigarette smoke streams in through the screen. Beautiful view but needs major update

We stayed in #A204 for a week with friends. We received what seemed to be adequate information before we arrived. But once we got there we couldn’t find our unit. Called the designated rental agent (Maui Paradise Properties) and did not get a call back. Finally knocked on a door and were told there were two buildings (not mentioned in the information) and we were in the other building. We finally found the unit and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The unit itself appeared to be heavily used and needed a deep cleaning. There were 7 dishes in the cupboard so with 4 people we were constantly doing dishes. The screen door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open. We finally called the maintenance number and he came two days (and two calls) later. Unit could use more lamps and a vacuum. We called the concierge service indicated in our information packet and never got a call back (Maui Vacation Adventures).
