last minute fantastic find

Very Nice and Peaceful

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the view was great. I would call it more of a motel than a "resort", but it is in an excellent location. The area was quite, and the motel is located where 75th Street "dead-ends', so not much traffic either. All rooms are ocean front and have a very nice view. The beach area in front of the building was not crowded either. They have a small pool, but it is actually 8 feet deep at one end, which is unheard of nowadays. While I would definitely stay here again (and most likely will), there are a few things that are different from a normal motel of which you should be aware: 1. There is no maid service, but you can take your towels downstairs in the morning and exchange them. 2. At the end of your stay, you are suppose to take the linens off the bed and place them on the bathroom floor, and empty all of your trash cans and carry the trash to the trash bin outside. I did experience 2 minor issues, but again, I would definitely stay here again. The issues were: 1. The office closes at 5 pm and you must call the "after hours" number if you arrive after that time. I think I was on hold for roughly 7 minutes. The next morning, the lady in the office was very nice about it. She apologized and stated they had just started having that issue with the after hours line and were working on the problem. That being said, after reaching someone, they give you a combination to a lock box that contains your key and papers with general information. 2. The rail on the oceanfront balcony must be at least 5' high (I think most places have a railing 4' high). My traveling companion was 5' 1" and she could not see over the railing. It would be nice if the railing was a foot shorter, but I am guessing the higher railing was installed due to liability insurance. While you are away from the main area of Myrtle Beach (which roughly starts around 31st Street North, you are only a few minutes away. We had tickets to the Carolina Opry and I think it was 5 minutes from our location. Anyway, overall, a nice little hidden gem. It is showing some age on the outside, but is very nice on the inside. I guess I should mention that our room had a full kitchen (full sized fridge, dishwasher, sink, stove, microwave, cookware, utensils, and glasses). The bathroom also had a hairdryer, but surprisingly, no shampoo. I believe there was a coffee maker, but since I don't drink the beverage, not 100% sure. Nice relaxing place on the ocean

I’ve been going to Jade tree cove for years. Location is great! Right on the beach. All rooms face the ocean so you never have a bad view.I like that is a smaller relaxing place.Rooms are clean. Beautiful accommodations!

Everything was amazing… location, clean accommodations, friendly staff. I would definitely stay again! The room was right on the beach! Our own little piece of paradise! Right on ocean

If you want a Myrtle Beach VACATION, this is the place. Away from the hub-bub but close to activities Great Place. Wonderful view of the ocean. Staff was extremely helpful and co-operative. Front desk staff was very happy. Housekeeping was able to provide supplies. Maintenance responded quickly. Very well kept older resort(80's). Other newer resorts were behind ours and not on the ocean. However, if you book a studio, it is a little tight for 2 let alone 4. If you want a Myrtle Beach VACATION, this is the place.
