Felt like home

It was a first time for me to book this kind of holiday, but since our times are for from being normal, it seemed to me the best solution. Hawaii is at the end of a very complicated way to get there. At least for us, from outside United States. I know it has nothing to do with the hotel, but I think it is worth mentioning that you need to have a valid (max 72 hours) covid-19 PCR test to enter any of the islands. But that's great, we've felt safer once we landed. Now, about the hotel. Or not exactly hotel... it's a condo resort. So no room service, no breakfast, no cleaning. But, during the stay there, five days, any of the mentioned services were not necessary. Everything we found in the room or bought form the grocery was enough. And I must add this, from the grocery we've only bought the food for breakfast. And coffee, of course. The room (the condo, actually) is very spacious. And very, very comfortable. Two bathrooms, one kitchen (island) equipped with absolutely everything you could imagine, one big balcony. The living is also big enough for a family with two kinds, if they want to spend the evening inside. Maybe the furniture inside is not that new, but this was something hardly noticed. Everything was in a perfect shape and functional, and this is what really matters. The inner court is beautiful, there is a BBQ place (I think there are 4 functional grills), there is a nice pool, not that big, but it's more than enough. The beach is beautiful, even if the sand is only covering a small portion and the ocean is full of small rocks. The location is not that bad either. Actually, there is not a single bad location in Kihei. Everywhere the view is breathtaking, regardless you look at the ocean or at the mountain. But you cannot do anything without a car. It is a must. The parking is not a problem, I thing there a place for every apartment. Driving to Makena famous beach... 15 minutes. Driving to Maalaea Maui Ocean Center, the same. Stunning condo with breathtaking views

I booked this condo for a 10 day mother/daughter trip. We typically stay in hotels but for this length of time we were interested in having a kitchen. This condo did NOT disappoint. The location is extremely convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. The nightly evening vibe was so enjoyable. Everyone would gather on the lawn to watch sunset and chat with each other. I personally enjoyed when people brought their dogs because I missed back home. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would not hesitate rebooking on a future visit. Excellent Resort

This resort is very well kept and has a fabulous view of the ocean. The units are clean and have great location. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Very quiet and family friendly. Older resort

Location is good but it is a very old resort, not enough supplies for the week, and found a several roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning units are very old and made a lot of noises, can’t sleep very at night. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

We stayed here for 10 days. We knew that we had rented an economy ocean view condo, and understand that there are cons to anything that is economy. However, the pictures I received from management were very nice so we were shocked that this was the same place we were promised! First, it IS NOT ocean view. It is a partial view, to see the whole beach, you had to lean over the balcony. Second, the minute we entered the condo, we knew that a motel would have been better! The place smelled of mildew, it was so dusty, that I had to dust the place myself! the couch my daughters had to sleep in had stains all over it. Everything in the condo is from the 70s! The lanài furniture was so old and rusty, the barstools are torn, the main bathtub had a huge rust stain, and the shower curtain liner was ful of mold! We hated this place and didn’t spend much time in it. Management told me that the place was “cleaned” before we got here, but I’m not sure how this place is being rented out in the condition it is in! If you rent here and are assigned room A413, RUN the other way, pay a bit more, you won’t regret it!! We stayed here for 10 days.
