Resort has a mixed bag of front desk employees

check-in employee was great however the employee at checkout should be fired! She was hiding in the back office looking through the one-way mirror. There were 2 of us out front waiting. You could hear her talking on the phone and she tells the person on the phone "they can wait, it's not important". The other lady commented "that is so rude". Finally she came out to the front counter after 10 minutes of waiting. No apologies, no friendliness more of an atmosphere of "we are bothering her or disrupting her routine". Definitely should not be in the hospitality industry but I guess times are so desperate you hire anybody that can breathe now-a-days. We could deal with all the other let-downs at the resort but our last few minutes there just pushed this resort to the bottom of our list check-in employee was great however the employee at checkout should be fired! Great location but some drawbacks

Loved the location to restaurants and beaches but you need to drive to both.Loved having 2 bathrooms. But the furniture was uncomfortable, and with the A/C on you couldn't think or sleep. Mattress could use upgrading. Loved the location to restaurants and beaches but you need to drive to both.Loved having 2 bathrooms. A nice break particularly before the race season starts

Pleasant rooms. Nice and roomy. Amenities including pool were delightful. Location was easy to get to from the freeway. Nice level was within expected levels (quite low). Staff were very helpful. Terrific resort!

We love this resort! We’ve been here twice now and have found the resort staff to be friendly and helpful, non-intrusive, and the physical grounds and units are in excellent condition. Lots of great restaurants nearby. We were there over July 4 and we could see the Del Mar Racetrack fireworks from our balcony—a really nice surprise! We love this resort! Great step back into post COVID traveling

Great location, Beautiful resort! Rooms were well designed, attractive, and nice amenities. The restaurants near by were good, the staff was available and helpful even when a couple of old travelers had a little trouble with the remote. Will be making it a new regular because we love San Diego area. Great location, Beautiful resort! Rooms were well designed, attractive, and nice amenities.
