Disgusting Hotel

This is the worst place we have ever stayed in. We have visited Hawaii several times and would never stay at this hotel or recommend this hotel to anyone. Carpeting in the halls and rooms are disgusting. Furniture is old and so uncomfortable to set on. I had to clean the room myself and put towels on the furniture because it looked so bad! Internet was very slow. Found a large roach on the floor. Was given 3 other rooms to look at on different floors and they were all the same. This is the worst place we have ever stayed in. Great place - great price

I loved staying here, they upgraded us to a beautiful view and floor. they let us check out late, they let us check in early. the Banyan Waikki is awesome!!! thank you so much for your hospitality and care. Don't fall for the "free parking" scam!

When I made the reservation, it prominently stated on the website that the parking would be free. This was why I made the reservation at the Waikiki Banyan, because I know parking can be exorbitant in Waikiki. When we got there, they said the parking was $27 a night. I tried to explain to the desk clerk, then the manager, that we were told parking was free. I even showed them how if you Google "Waikiki Banyan" and "free parking", there are pages and pages of results that come up showing that there is free parking. They tried to claim that it's a separate company and they have no control over it. This is blatantly unfair and a money grab, just like the $25 "resort fee." Fantastic hotel!

We had a great time. The rooms are good and clean, including the bathroom. The staff was friendly, and the location of the hotel is convenient. This was my first time in Hawaii, and I'm happy we found such a nice hotel. We had a great time. The rooms are good and clean, including the bathroom. Little Piece of Paradise

The staff at Waikiki Banyan are amazing and very welcoming, the only reason I only gave it a 4/5 is due to maintenance requirements. The fire/ emergency alarms were intermittently going off, but the one that put us off was when they shut off the water, while we were warned we had to modify our plans so that we have done all that requires water such as showering.
