Basic rooms

The amenities were great. The apartments are small, old and the appliances are noisy. The bath and shower are in the main bedroom. In the other bathroom a half bottle of sprite was left and there were long black hairs on the wash basin. The amenities were great. The apartments are small, old and the appliances are noisy. Not impressed

If anyone has watched the movie Dirty Dancing, towards the end of the movie the resort is shutting down for the season, everyone is going hone & everything looks dead & closed up. That’s what this resort reminded of. The room was very overly spacious & comfortable. But SO far away from everything! You can’t walk ANYWHERE! You have to get in your car & drive to the hot tub, pool, food, activities (what little there were) everything. The last night there new, VERY loud neighbors moved in. It was the most annoying night there. The room has no insulation or something, the noise was horrible until about 3:30 am. We had to be up at 4:30 to travel home. Before I came I was really looking forward to going to the water park! Got here & it’s only open on weekends & they charge you to use it! The advertisement makes it look like it was part of the resort & it’s only “on property” but not included in the resort. So, I never even got to go to the only thing o was looking forward to. Can Be A Great Resort

I was the only person waiting to check in while about six staffers ignore me and continue to huddle and chat. The appliances need updating but work. Very poor flooring, every step in above unit reverberates. Housekeeping and maintenance were great. The amenities and location are great. Amazing stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations

My family of 20 stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort in June. We had three-2 bedroom condos in building I across from the volleyball court and we could not have been more pleased. Everything from check-in with Katrena to our exit was simply amazing. I called ahead of time to reserve a handicap room and ask that rooms are close together and our needs were met, we were all in the same building. The rooms look newly renovated and was simply amazing. Don't let the negative reviews scare you away from this amazing property. There's so much to do, from movie night by the pool, mini golf, tennis, volleyball, swimming at many pools, the water park, activities for kids as well as several playgrounds, board games, fishing and boating. There are also grills by each building that were clean and ready for use. There's probably many more but those are all the activities we did during our week stay. The restaurant in the main area is also really good, didn't try the one near the marina. There is a grocery store, about a mile away with extremely good customer service. Family Time

Overall experience was good, there were some issues with the unit that we were in, which was reported to the staff & I am sure it would have been dealt with before the next guest used the unit.
