Not Relaxing

Room was above a very loud generator, so could not hear the waves over the din. Changing mattresses all week, so hallways and elevators always filled with mattresses. Installers yelling and cussing at their boss right below our room, and speeding through the parking lot. Room was falling apart. Had to self serve everything, even TP. Screen doors littered our gulf side balcony. This is no Hilton Property, which it was advertised to be. We will not return. Super upscale location with great views of the ocean sunsets from your living room or balcony. Full kitchen, on-site laundry and great pool. Walk to shopping, dinner and drinks. Old Florida style beach vacation

This is what Florida beach vacation used to look like. You can’t ask for a more comfortable stay. There’s an attention to detail in so many areas. The staff is amazing. From Julie Booth to Diane who helped me take off the stain on my car from the parking pass (only comment they should laminate) pass). Hotel is on the beach. Very small gym but equipped. Gas grills. All in good working order. Is this a 5 star hotel no it’s not. So if that’s the expectation there’s a JW close by that might meet that need. But if you’re looking for a 2 bedroom condo relaxing family vacation you won’t be disappointed. This is what Florida beach vacation used to look like. You can’t ask for a more comfortable stay. Trip to Marco

We stayed at the Surf Club in Marco Island this Labor Day, the unit was comfortable, the views to the Beach were unobstructed, the staff do go out of their way to make sure that everything is good and you have a good stay, the Surf Club is centrally located within walking distance to Restaurants and shops. We would recommend this resort to anyone. Simple, but well kept

The Surf Club is a very modest resort in comparison to the resorts it is surrounded by. However, it is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the views from most balconies is amazing. The only bummer is there is no onsite food/drink to purchase (maybe related to COVID). The beach is just about a 2 minute walk from pool. The pool is clean and shaded in morning, lots of chairs and places to lay out. There is also a barbeque ready to be used.
