Comfortable and friendly

Some of the furniture was a bit old, but the staff were very helpful in providing information about hiking trails and even printed directions to a couple of places they recommended. Well cared for grounds. I think whoever stayed in my unit before me fed ducks and geese from the backdoor (even though people are requested not to do so). The first few days they appeared every afternoon - the goose even tried to waddle inside! Air conditioning only in lounge room, not in bedrooms. A quiet and beautiful location.

If you are wanting to get away and relax, I feel this is a place to visit. The staff members were friendly and very helpful. The location is pretty and very well maintained, with plenty of included activities, such as kayaking, peddle boats, tennis, an extensive activity room, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, mini golf and golf etc. and a great outlook over a pretty lake with a variety of bird life, kangaroos and wallabies. Rooms appear to be dated, but ours was very clean and well equipped. You have to pay for an internet connection, which would be my only complaint, although I believe they are going to have this service in the rooms in the future. Extremely Poor Customer Delivery

Bought Gift Voucher couple of weeks ago and now been notified they couldn't locate the voucher after several attempts. Rang and emailed. Been advised by the team "Unfortunately it is the way it is and you just have to accept it until their manager is back the next day to get in touch" ... but to date, I never got any response. Also, it is also very unfortunate you can't get your money back, too! So, I don't see the logic that you have to chase someone at fault, even more when you are the customer. Getting gift voucher is meant to be stress free ...I stayed there a year plus ago and thought after seeing current review and thought that they might have retrained their staff and giving it another shot to get gift voucher. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I recently stayed at this lovely resort with a group of friends and it had everything we needed. The office staff were most welcoming and helpful which was a great start and our accommodation was clean and extremely comfortable. The views over the lake from each unit are wonderful and very peaceful. The grounds are very well cared for and perfect for a family vacation. The location is within easy driving distance to the coast and there are many local attractions worth visiting including a very good winery. The local hotel provides a courtesy bus to guests and we took advantage of this for several of our evening meals. We would definitely stay at this resort again and highly recommend it. Beautiful getaway

Cedar Lake is a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy the scenary. I could stay here for weeks with a good collection of books and be blissfully happy. The rooms have everything you need and are comfortable and spacious. Not too far to drive if you miss the shops and restaurants. Lovely just enjoying the peace and quiet. The pool is fantastic and I will continue staying here as I have several times in the past. Cedar Lake is a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy the scenary.
