Unit was ok. Area was nice.

The area is very nice, Wine country. Unit while clean was very dated and needs to be updated. This is nice place for couples. Not a great deal of activities for children. Packet did not have any information on the area or activities. We needed to find activities and amenities on our own. The area is very nice, Wine country. Family trip to Northshore Chautauqua.

Great place and location with excellent views of the lake; Chautauqua Institute of which these grounds are on is a beautiful cultural institution with nicely appointed grounds, beautiful homes and wonderful for cultural appreciation of the fine arts. The heated lower pool was magnificent. Great week to be out. Low traffic; low season. Fishing, boating, golfing, restaurants abound. The Northshore at Chautauqua

We had a great time staying at The Northshore inside of the Institute. The location was incredible, very close to the lake, and mid-week, they even put a dock out behind our condo for us to go out on. The condo was equipped with everything needed, so we were good to go there. My only complaint is that the beds were hard as a rock, but my husband's grandparents also had a home inside the institute not too long ago, and their beds were hard as well. Perhaps someday these mattresses could be upgraded? Other than that, phenomenal! Would stay there again in heartbeat. We were even upgraded to a lakeview room, and that was incredible! The team was also very accommodating when I told them I had some visitors coming as well, and they gave me more designated parking spots. Northshore at Chautauqua

The timeshare was inside the Chautauqua Institute. It was a very interesting small town with narrow streets and no street lights. It was begun in the 1850's. It was an interesting place to walk around and see all the landscaping. Be sure to learn of its history. Most unique time share we have ever been at. Quiet in September

I don't understand why they shut down everything in September. It's still warm. Lodging is so so, but there is nothing to do. It's a pretty area with great walking trails but I won't return.
