Good location, limited service

Although the location of the Club Hotel is perfect, there were significant comfort deficiencies. Our rent was paid for 7 days, we had been informed only after our arrival, that - due to the necessary desinfection during the pandemia - we have to leave the apartment one day earlier. There wasn't any kind of compensation. Just the opposite: When we arrived in a pretty cold day of May 2021., there wasn't heating in the apartmant, nor hot water in the tap, the fric was brocken (all our food had been frozen in the first morning). After our claim next day we received them. The cleanness of the kitchen is limited. There is gas stove over there, therefore cooking or backing consumes the oxygen, it is recommended to vent the apartment. We missed brochures about the tourist attractions in the reception. Since the two single bed was located at the two walls apart, and we are a couple, and we didn't want to sleep separately, therefore we rearranged the furniture in the room. When the renovation is complete, it will be a good place!

Nice environment in Lővérek, good air, lots of opportunities for excursion in Austria and Hungary , winter lots of skigebiet not too far, more spas with medicinal thermal water and a swimming pool in the area, many good restaurants in the area, Golden Fazan restaurant right next door with good kitchen. Spacious well equipped apartment. Good heating in the apartment. Sopron is a a pleasant city with walking and shopping facilities. The resort is unfortunately, it is now undergoing renovation, at 7 in the morning with work noise. When this is done, it will be a good place! Worn out and unfriendly

This is a very poor standard of hotel, it is run down, appliances don't work and if you speak English only avoid it at all costs as they really only want Hungarian and German speakers here. COMFORTABLE FOR 2 PEOPLE.

This was a weeks exchange with RCI and we were in a one bedroom unit. The unit was clean, tidy, nicely decorated, good furnishings, comfortable bed, good appliances and kitchen plus a very good air conditioning system. It also had a nice outside balcony. SKY News in English was a bonus. There is excellent on site parking and the grounds have beautifully established trees. As far as the staff are concerned, the reception staff need training in welcoming guests, there is no welcoming, in fact we were treated with disdain, bordering on rudeness, especially from the male who checked us in and out. The young women were marginally better, but really not at all interested in our queries. The staff who emptied our rubbish bins daily were totally different, very pleasant. We dined at the restaurant one night, which was quite an unusual experience, there was no menu, we were seated and brought a bowl of soup with vegetables, then the main meal which was a pork dish with potato. The meal was average and we were the only people in the restaurant. The Wi Fi was non existent, just wouldn't work in our unit so we resorted to the Library and MacDonalds to check our emails. Peaceful place, but old and worn

This resort is in a lovely location, up a hill in a residential neighborhood. There are plenty of trees and it is very peaceful. If you are walking, be prepared for the uphill walk as you return to the resort each day. The unit, furnishings, and appliances are old and worn. The stove is gas and has to be lit with a match. The historic town is very interesting, and there is plenty to see to occupy several days. The staff does not speak English. On the whole, the people were welcoming, but you need a translation app. The resort restaurant is very inexpensive, fixed menu each night, hot and fresh.
