Needs to Improve

Expensive and poor value. It's handy to bring your own milk, tea and coffee for use in the room. The room had poorly fitted bathroom doors and verandah doors. Family Getaway

We got away to see the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights Spectacular and chose Cypress Lakes as the ideal venue to put our feet up. Not disappointed in any way, great location in a serene setting. The 3 young grandchildren had an amazing time. We will certainly return same time next tif not before. Beautiful location

The grounds are good however the accommodation is rather pricey for the quality of the rooms, apartments roomy and have been fitted out with the minimal requirements, located in beautiful grounds need to stipulate your requirements ie upstairs or downstairs rooms The grounds are good however the accommodation is rather pricey for the quality of the rooms, apartments roomy and have been fitted out with the minimal requirements, located in beautiful grounds need to stipulate your requirements ie upstairs or downstairs rooms

In need of an refresh!

We visited one of the villas with a family of 4 (2 young kids). Villa itself was ok not great, but the park itself was a let down, extremely bad signposting (took us ages to find the pool you can use for the villas) and the cypress hill restaurant bistro is just a shambles, its on par with a simple rsl, food is disgusting and completely not what you see on pictures - in need of an upgrade and a good menu with some proper healthy options, so much potential if you get a audience on your grounds that plays golf and can afford your villas! VERY Bad Experience

We had an alarm ringing next door and complained on arrival only to be told NOTHING could be done. We got little or no sleep between us. We complained again on departure and again told nothing could be done. Not good enough. The hotel should have a phone number of someone whom the owner has nominated who can check and turn off the alarm OR we should have been moved to another villa. At the very least we should have received a full refund or credit. There was not even a sincere apology. Very poor staff training and lack of authority to fix a serious problem.
