Главним разочарованием стал персонал отеля. Врут, что есть бассейн, а он просто не функционирует. Неожиданно меняют номера. Завтрак однообразный, отель не соответствует своим звездам. Друзья остановились в соседнем отеле и качество не сравнить. Главним разочарованием стал персонал отеля. Врут, что есть бассейн, а он просто не функционирует. Неожиданно меняют номера. fair price and comfy beds

Hotel reception staff are great and friendly folks. Ines was the dearest person ever. We will come back for sure. I will only request for a proper bathroom in my room. The one we stayed is a bathtub in the middle of the room. It is messy and water spills a lot. Hotel reception staff are great and friendly folks. Ines was the dearest person ever. Wonderful Stay

Had a wonderful experience! I recommend this property for： 1. Stunning view of the village and Matterhorn from the balcony of my room 2. Very good breakfast buffet 3. Well-designed room with nice decorations and lights 4. Staff speaks excellent English 5. 5 min to the train station, the main shopping street and Gornergrat Bahn station, 2 min walk to Sunnegga station 6. Lastly, when I checked out, there were pouring rain. The staff kindly drove me to the train station! Had a wonderful experience! I recommend this property for： 1. Great 3 nights stay at Sunstar Hotel Zermatt

The hotel front desk lady is super friendly and helpful. She also remembered guest's name and greeted guests with courtesy and personal touch. Hotel location is great - about 5 min walk to the train station. Room is clean and quiet. Everything is great and I'm happy with my stay there. Cozy Great stay

The room was very cozy small clean. Reception staff was most cordial and polite. They completely the formality with a positive attitude. Gave us all information about the hotel and area very well. Even 2 star hotels are better than this hotel

Start with the good: the view of the Matterhorn (which you can see from most hotels in Zermatt) and ok breakfast, though, like in most hotels I have been to in Zermatt, the coffee is average. the breakfast room and the patio are very nice. The hotel: the hotel is old. The ramp to the front door has a rusty glass frame that gives you a preview of the state of the hotel. the pain on the wood at the reception is gone in parts. The whole place smells of old (room 404 smelt so old, I had to ask for another room). The rooms: the floor is old and fake wood with dents and broken parts. The shower inside the main room (not in a bathroom) is weird at best and a way to make the best out of a small space. It's just weird. The terrace is an ok space but feels and looks old and doesn't make you want to hang out. The elevator: scratched, old glue where stickers were removed, old. The sauna: small and with very narrow bedding and beds that overhang the other bad and cracks and makes you wonder if it will break. It does the job but very tight and dark quarters. Front desk: we went to the front desk to get the spa key and the women stayed in her office. I had to signal for her attention. When she came, she said that she was in a zoom conference and seemed irritated that we interrupted her. I called at 9am the following day to book a taxi for the day after at 5am and breakfast packs for 5 of us. No one answered despite calling three times and leaving a message. That afternoon, I go to the front desk if she got my message. She says yes and when I ask for the lunch packs, she gets upset that I didn't ask for that before, which is why I called early. The lunch packs were a bar each and a small sandwich in 2 day old bread. The plumbing: I got woken up by really loud plumbing in the middle of the night. I could not recommend this hotel less. Very bad value compared to all other 4 stars in Zermatt!
