Decent view, terrible service

I went right after covid so I think I got the nice view because there was noone in this hotel. Also bought all inclusive. The food and the service for the food was awful. They have a bar open until ten pm but you have to walk into their kitchen to get anyone to get you a drink. There's no menu for dinner they just tell you what they have and you have to choose, I'm writing this on day two and it's literally the same menu for lunch and dinner. The food is so bad my dog wouldn't eat it. There's no hot water in the shower. The pools are nice but they have no bar or anyone working the pools, also they have like three chairs for their two pools. So far it's pretty bad but I do have a nice view. Bed 3 star hotel!

We visited the hotel in 1/2020 and the hotel was a big disappointment. The hotel is old, the rooms are old with shaking sink in the bathroom. Everything looks old and the dinning room is small. The staff is trying to be nice but don’t speak English .this hotel is not a 4 star but they charge 180$ per night and it’s not worth it!!! You'll love Arena Blanca if you enjoy sweating and listening to jackhammers all day

I stayed at Arena Blanca recently for as business trip. Note, I've been to nearly 90 countries and stayed in a wide variety of accommodations during that time. I chose based upon photos provided on Hotels.com. I'm sure such a unicorn of a room exists in that building, but NOTHING I witnessed even remotely approached their advertised rooms. They were dirty, A/C did not work, constant construction in the area, and I had a lovely view of an abandoned field and a derelict property. The best I can say is breakfast wasn't terrible, so not all bad. There certainly is worst in San Andres, but there is much better for the price. In fact, my colleagues stayed in the NEW hotel immediately next to Arena Blanca and raved about it -- AND it was cheaper. I was also overcharged by hotel for my stay and am currently working thru that issue. I stayed at Arena Blanca recently for as business trip. Good hotel but room for improvement

Nice hotel with friendly employees. Pool is smaller than on the pictures and there are currently constructions around the hotel that make everything quite loud until the night. Breakfast was nice but there was not much to choose from. Nice hotel with friendly employees.
