good stay

Close to the beach, great for kids: heated pool with a pirate ship slide, great Thai Restaurant downstairs, large rooms. Short walk to shops and restaurants. On-site staff were attentive and helpful at all times. We have stayed there twice and would stay again. Hopeless Security Guard

We have stayed at the Mantra multiple times. We are not happy with the security guards services and was extremely rude to us and wasn’t helpful at all when asking questions and trying to explain to him the situation. After all his job is to look after visitors and he failed to do so. Overall, great service from everyone else! Everyone was helpful and lovely to deal with. Thank you! Quality resort in a quality Gold Coast location

Despite COVID times and concerns over some previous reviews, we found the one bedroom RCI unit to be roomy, well appointed and very pleasant to spend a week in. The resort has excellent indoor and outdoor pools. The Chang Mai Thai restaurant on-site has very good food. The location is handy to the beach, the light rail and a short walk to a variety of very good eating places and shops. On-site staff were attentive and helpful at all times. Family week away

Great location, room and pool areas also great for kids. Large rooms we had a 3 bedroom, very modern and spacious with amazing views. Love these slightly older hotels rooms and ceiling height seem much bigger, Thai food downstairs expensive but amazing and coffee at the pool kiosk everyday was delicious Great location, room and pool areas also great for kids. Spacious apartment but sea view?

Pretty disappointing start to our stay with the parking very limited, took some time to find the only spot in the car park. There were apparently only 2 trolleys available in the whole hotel too, which made check in to the room even more challenging. Then when we got to our floor (18), there was a smell of vomit as you exited the lift. To top things off, we got to our room and the sea view that we paid extra for, had very limited views as we were facing north and with a big building blocking most of the angled view to the sea. I discussed all of the above with reception and was blanked and said that someone would look in to the vomit smell the next day. Can’t fault the room, very big and had recently been upgraded. Other friends we had travelled with had a dated room but got the sea views as were on a high floor (32). Overall, the location wasn’t bad, indoor pool a saviour with the weather, our room was great but the hotel itself was unloved and certainly looks to have seen impacts from COVID. One bonus was the Thai restaurant downstairs, which is not even affiliated to the hotel but was top notch.
