Paradise in Belize

Our incredible stay started a month prior to our arrival. Writing to reservations requesting information and placement of unit, Maribel Acosta immediately not only answered all questions but with a friendliness and warmth that prevailed the entire trip and set the stage for the most amazing stay. Grand Colony Island Villas are beautiful! Location could not be better, placed on one of the nicest beaches in all of Belize. Units very large and very clean. Furnishings are well above "hotel grade" taking on an "exclusive villa" appearance. Kitchen was well stocked with all the items you may need. All 3 bedrooms were wonderful sanctuaries for restful sleep. The huge wrap around balcony overlooking the beach was our favorite spot in the morning for coffee, and in the evening for the sunset cocktail. All the above being said, the best part of our stay was the remarkable staff lead by Maribel Acosta. They treated us as if we were beloved members of their family, always greeted with a smile, always offering their services, who could possibly ask for more? Even after our departure, Maribel reached out to thank us for our stay. Who does this!!! It is with very fond memories that we look to return to this amazing island jewel. Paradise in Belize! Stranded in Belize

My wife and I were going to Belize for a quick long weekend trip in November. We ended up for reasons out of our control being stuck there for almost 2 weeks. The Grand Colony was "home" for that time period and the stay and staff went above and beyond our expectations!! The room was comfortable, the food was amazing and the staff (especially the GM Frank) was top rate!! Highly recommend anyone traveling to Belize / Ambergris Caye to stay at Grand Colony. A wonderful vacation at Grand Colony cut short due to Covid 19

We just returned from a wonderful visit to San Pedro Belize. We stayed at the Grand Colony Island Villas. It is a very clean and pretty hotel. Our room was very clean and nice. The beach access in front of the hotel was more than other hotels and very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted in setting up tours and dinner reservations. Diego, a security guard was particularly helpful and a friendly face as we came and went. We would stay here again! We just returned from a wonderful visit to San Pedro Belize. We stayed at the Grand Colony Island Villas. It is a very clean and pretty hotel. Our room was very clean and nice. Wonderful stay despite the weather

My family and I had a wonderful despite the rains. The manager and staff were very friendly and did everything to make our stay wonderful. I like the fact that they called the night prior to check out to check on the time we would be checking out, and whether we would need a taxi. That was very thoughtful for them. The properly was clean and well kept. My family and I had a wonderful despite the rains. The manager and staff were very friendly and did everything to make our stay wonderful. A great place to stay at in Belize
